Quaker Tavern

Quaker Tavern was perfect for our family. The lodge decor and feel was inviting, warm, and excellent for the food they served. Portions were large and the choices were good. Everything from the Tavern Burger to the chicken Parm were cooked perfectly. Staff was friendly and on it. Sarah was awesome! Will definitely be back.

This place was surprisingly good. The chicken parm was huge enough for 2 people and cooked and breaded perfectly. The fish was flakey and awesome first time I got it, 2nd time Sat a bit and was chewy. Not the cooks fault I suspect it was our waiter. Which brings me to why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars. Our waiter had a long beard and pony tail and was so not interested in being there. He walked over and dropped off 2 menus. Then put his head down and was waiting for us to order (I think) no hello, no smile, no personality. But it gets better. Or worse I should say. I ordered something and asked for extra broccoli 🥦 and he brings me extra carrots. Never explaining maybe they didn’t have broccoli. Or maybe he just substituted whatever it was there was no notification. We end our meal and he’s watching us because he wants to leave. My friend gets up to go to bathroom and he takes his plate away ! With his fish on it and not finished ! Now we are feeling rushed. We discuss who is going to pay since 2 parties. While discussing he’s hovering over us. He rips away the check and credit card, processed, comes back. Again watching for signature apparently we didn’t move fast enough. Once my friend signs he literally rips away the check. No thank you, no have a nice day. Then we watch him waiting to check out. And he’s rolling his eyes and in an obvious rush to leave. Ok that being said Amy is awesome and the other staff is good! Hopefully they remove this one bad egg. I’d definitely recommend this place. Good food, good drink prices
