Crave Ice Cream

An old-fashioned looking ice cream shop with great character and amazing ice cream! I’ve been a few times on my visits to the island and it’s by far the best ice cream that you’ll find anywhere. The staff are friendly, they offer tasters if you’re unsure which of their many custom-made ice creams that you fancy. Previously I’ve had unique flavours like Turkish delight and cherry Bakewell, and today they had special Halloween offerings. I settled on a double tub of Berry brain (with a jelly brain topper) and pumpkin spice, and both were amazing.

A real gem in amongst some of the tired and formulaic things to do on the Isle of Wight. Great ice-cream and some novel ideas like ice-cream tapas. Still call a Knickerbocker Glory by their name rather than a Sundae which is lovely (we had two and devoured them). By far the best thing is the chap behind the counter who just smiles continuously. He's living the dream. Well worth the visit and still a small queue out of the door in late October.

A real holiday treat. Visited twice within our holiday week. Delicious ice cream and able to taste the flavours before buying. The giant flake was amazing! Staff were friendly and informative. Great value and well worth the money. Having too much smaller freezer at holiday home couldn't take more away.

Went to find Crave after hearing good reviews but wow, it was even better than we'd hoped! Ice cream is absolutely delicious, best we've ever had. Our dogs had their own mini ice creams and they were also very enthusiastic! The people were so nice and friendly and we can't wait to return to try more, worth a special trip just for this, thank you!

Nice cute ice cream bar. Went here because of all the reviews. Think I may have been expecting way too much but I do have to say that the prices and flavor options are great. The lady that served me didn't say I could get 2 different scoops for each scoop like how they did with other people, which was sad. But the flakes are very big and tasty.

So, we thought to ourselves, let's have an ice cream. A quick Google search later and we confidently had an online answer to, "Where are the best ice creams on the Isle of Wight?", so off we went to Crave. And it was good! Having unlimited tasters was a lovely approach and the staff serving actively encouraged you to make sure you'd picked the flavour you really wanted. The adult "single scoop" was two scoops of ice-cream and you could mix and match the flavours. Winner! Whole family were happy, ice cream was tasty, we all had a new flavour and prices were reasonable. Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐
