Would recommend the swans to anybody great staff working there very friendly and most helpful food is top notch go there most weekends with my family!! Keep up the good work guys!!!!

Karl and Julie run an amazing pub. Their chef cooks an amazing Carvery on a Sunday and food during the week. They have plenty of events happening during the week to keep everyone occupied.
Much better and friendlier than the other pubs in Verwood!

Really friendly staff, a lot of effort had gone into decorating inside for Rememberance weekend. Food came out quick, steak was cooked to what I had asked for and was very tasty. Veterans discount knocked 20% off the bill. Plus there was a disco!
The Swans have started running an Armed Forces Veteran Club breakfast meeting on the first Saturday of each month. The breakfast is great and the price is really good for the amount you get.
The service is friendly and efficient, with the landlord joining us for a chat.
It's also really nice to meet other Veterans, whether they served a couple of years on National Service, or did full careers, from all branches of the Armed Forces and share some dits.
So, if you're in the Verwood area and fancy pulling up a sandbag, whilst grabbing your scoff, you know where to be.
I went with two newcomers to the area because I saw a flier advertising a live band and DJ. I was pleasantly surprised in all ways. Music was excellent, and popular bar prices. I did not eat, but the food I saw looked very appetising. Staff were very attentive and pleasant but not patronising. The place was reasonably busy, customers were themselves friendly and open to conversation, and everyone and everything created a great ambience in the room. My friends and I will have to go again.

Always go here when staying in the area. Several times a week at least. Even with the rising costs of everything the value for money meals you can get here are tremendous. My wife and children love to come here, friendly service and simple grill/pub grub. Always clean and even in school holidays much cleaner than some of the chain family restaurants I have used with the kids. It's not the Ivy but definitely gets a five star review from me.
I ordered the ultimate southern fried chicken burger along with halloumi fries. Both very tasty and decent portions. I was served by Ali who gave great customer service. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Very good our granddaughter wanted the chicken dippers and they were unavailable but staff sorted her out with chicken popcorn.

A spur of the moment decision when shopping turned into a very good lunch. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. I have coeliac so was very pleased to be given a separate gluten free menu. It made a pleasant change from limited choice. We both enjoyed our meals and thought it good value.

Went for some drinks with my family and had some snacks of the menu. I was served by James who was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the gins on offer. Our food came out quickly and was very nice. Would definitely recommend coming here. Very lovely staff.
having ordered the steak night offer 2 steaks for £10.95 including a drink my husband was told there was no strongbow cider available except for the fruit one. we were then asked to pay an extra £5.10 on top of the offer to enable us to receive an alternative cider, we think this should have been offered to us free of charge as a good will gesture, we are undecided as to weather we will return
