Great food warm and friendly service highly recommend 👍🏼❤️
My favourite restaurant by far. Excellent food, excellent staff and beautiful surroundings .
Great food great atmosphere, always a treat going there
Lovely staff.. Excellent food.. A lovely place
A unique pub/restaurant with upwards of 200 clocks, all in working order. A tremendous spectacle on the hour later in the morning/evening. The ambience of the place is excellent with friendly staff and great value food. Highly recommended.
Superb sirloin steak. Locally sourced and cooked to order. Congratulations !
Beautiful exterior design and interesting clock collections inside. The clocks all chimed at slightly different times.
The food wasn't great here, the fish were quite bland and slightly overcooked. There's one dish worth getting though - the garlic mushrooms with garlic bread. The Tribute was good here.
Despite only having 2 staff, their service was pretty fast.
Overall, it's nice to come here for a pint and the atmosphere but not food.
Lovely pub. One of the best interiors. Really cosy and spotlessly clean. The toilets were also very clean.
Staff are very friendly and food is very nice.
Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Good food at very reasonable prices
Would recommend it.
Can't say anymore than that.
Lovely little pub with some eclectic decor!
It feels like home when sat in the "snug"... a fireplace, pictures and lots & lots of clocks!! All this makes for a very relaxed atmosphere.
The food was good and hearty and the portion sizes will DEFINITELY have you reaching for the walking boots for an afternoon walk!
All in all thoroughly enjoyed our visit; food, staff, value for money were all excellent! Go visit!!
A great little pub. Watch your head on the way in, the beams are low! The Ales are good. If you are going for dinner, get organised. Book beforehand, have your drinks and food order ready to go by the time your server arrives and you'll have a great evening.
We always have the duck when we go here. It is always excellent. The owner is ver hospitable and the atmosphere with all the beautiful clocks are magical.
Really charming and very quaint old Inn with much character tucked away in a quiet lane. Good food and friendly staff. Antique clocks really make this old Inn unique. Loved it!
Nice pint of Hick's, new choice for me, named after the founder of the St Austall brewery, toffee and raisins?? Delish, if you've got the time.....! You'll know what I mean if you drop in. Lovely Landlady/ Bar keep. Will be back...
Alovely friendly old pub in a lovely location, near wadebridge, a wow at the interior....
Fantastic place, lovely hosts, nice food, cold beer, what else do you need.
Looks a great little pub but unfortunately it was shut at the time of my visit.
Wonderful Saturday lunch, everything was cooked to perfection excellent ales and wine, cannot be faulted. The ambiance of over 200 clocks ticking away is also a unique experience.
Very nice pub free of the hordes looking for a bargain on the eat out deal. Had a decent glass of wine, local Cornish pint and a generous and delicious dinner. Steak and Sea Bass. All very good. Quirky clock collection not as tickie or noisy as you would think!
Went on the first night of opening since lockdown, lovely quaint and quirky pub. Staff and service were great, the fillet steak and salmon were exceptionally cooked however the choice of potatoes appeared to be fried from frozen, letting the quality of the meal down slightly, however we would still return to eat again!
Wonderful, very old pub, full of clocks. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Full gorgeous. We had fillet steak stuffed with scallops. It was perfectly cooked..
Fantastic food in an amazing friendly old English oak beamed pub with an extensive collection of clocks. The fillet steak and scallops is a must for all steak lovers. The steak must have been 12oz and was cooked perfectly. My wife had the half a duck which was also superb and enough for two people. You definitely need to book to get into this little gem. It is undoubtedly one of the finest food venues in the South of England.
A little gem! Had a great Sunday roast beef, Apple pie & cream & a coffee. Also a really smooth house red wine. Friendly atmosphere & lots of clocks & golf decor. We'll be back!!
