Visited recently for the first time.
Staff gave us a friendly welcome, the food was amazing and the staff couldn't have done more. Very helpful providing gluten free choices too.
The whole experience was lovely. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often
Sunday Carvery was the order for today cannot fault the staff and service everyone was over the moon with the meals. They even catered for two of the group who required Gluten Free meals finished off with desserts. Well recommended to everyone
We didn't stay but had a lovely meal there whilst staying down the road at Retallack Holiday Park. We all loved our food, the best pork belly I have had in a very long time! It was nice we could take the dogs, would highly recommend 👌
Went for the carvery today and it was really lovely. Staff and service was excellent and very helpful. Food was fresh, well presented and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back.
Had the pleasure of a birthday meal with my fiancée. Staff were friendly, food was to die for as in outstanding. Even had a birthday pudding with candles and personalised with staff singing Happy Birthday.
Met the chef to give compliments. Will definitely go again being local
ATTENTION!!! THIS IS THE BEST GASTRO PUB IN THE AREA... first night we ordered the Gammon, fresh grilled pineapple, duck's egg and chunky chips... simply remarkable... it was so good we booked for the next evening... we treated ourselves to the Chateaubriand... steak like you have never tested before, so tender the knife dropped through, accompanied by wonderfully tasty juicy flat mushrooms, rocket salad, chunky chips, peppercorn sauce ... can't wait to come back... such friendly staff... Amazing food.,.best meal we had in the UK, better than Paris too. The chateaubriand was perfectly cooked and very tender... highly recommend this as a place to eat. Way better than any of Rick Steins restaurants.

This place was really easy to find and is a lovely little country pub that sits on a main road. The staff were all lovely and the Sunday carvery was amazing.

Seriously I was astounded by this wonderful find. The food is absolutely gorgeous. I don't like to over use the phrase but it really was the best meal I have had for a long long time. Such quality ingredients and certainly all made in house. Wow, the lobster thermador tart was amazing, all courses were spot on and the wine list is vast. I can thoroughly recommend the "Jackson estate" Sauvignon blanc 2017.
Service was perfect and atmosphere cosy and friendly.
We will be back.
We had a lovely meal here tonight, fantastic from service to the food absolutely amazing food, complimentary breads & meats wish I lived closer but will defo be visiting again on our yearly visit to padstow
