We were very happy with the vegan menu, the vegan dishes tasted delicious, and they were good size portions. We missed some extra serviettes. Altogether we had a nice time, thank you!
Very nice pub for Sunday food, the sharing sundae is not for the faint hearted! Especially after having one of the XL burgers!
The Anchor is not quite like it used to be, the food quality has dropped considerably. Today we were served bitter lettuce with brown cut edges, for instance. A long wait for the food considering we were there very early in the day with almost no other guests present. The serving staff are attentive

We've been here a few times over the years and this is a lovely pub just of the A10. It's got a lovely beer garden and it serves lovey food and beer. What's do brilliant about this is that it offers 2for1 on all main meals everyday of the week. The food is lovely and we've never had any complaints.
Reasonably priced, staff a bit too chatty when serving food to table but would rather that rude. Lovely little place. Lunch time only seating available in bar not main restaurant area.

Friendly service and good range of drinks. Extensive menu and daily specials. Good for kids. Large car park. Not ideal for mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs.
