Review Sonar Gaon Indian Restaurant - Wadhurst

Absolutely amazing Indian food. These guys have been doing this for 30 years, and they really know what they’re doing. I live close by and their takeaway is as good as eating in. Cannot recommend enough. Try the garlic chilli chicken... but the King Prawn Madras is something else. Wish I could give these guys six stars out of five.

Best Indian in the area. We have been to almost all of tham in the area and this one is hands down is the best. We had a delicious madras, great sauce and tender chicken, good kick too. Butter chicken was ‘incredible’ husbands words and that’s all he normally eats. Naans and paratha were also spot on. Lovely and cosy. Comfortable and clean. Will be back!! Thanks!

Great food - the Sonar Gaon Lamb curry was particularly tasty. Staff were friendly and we felt welcome. Would recommend.
