We go to Tastebuds whenever we are nearby. The coffee is one the best we find anywhere, the staff are so lovely and well any excuse for a bacon, sausage and mushroom bap!
Wonderful, friendly and personalised service. The cafe is clean, tidy and well presented, modern and inviting. They have a good range of delicious cakes and snacks which can be adapted to cater for personal tastes. The staff are friendly and courteous, with a warmth that is rare.
Prices are competitive for this type of cafe in this sort of location. There is always a choice of House or Guest coffee, with the guest coffee carrying no additional charge. Trust me you won't be disappointed with either the service, the quality or taste.

Lovely locally sourced food in immaculately clean surroundings. Excellent value for money and staff very friendly and helpful. Owner was happy to talk to us about his vision for the cafe and his passion for his venture shone through. He gave me good advice on how to get my scramble eggs as delicious as the ones I was served. The ingredients used in out breakfasts were of the highest quality and the bread used for the toast was to die for.
We were delighted to find the place unchanged from visits in previous years, i.e. everything in the room is absolutely clean (tables, chairs, floors). We enjoyed a tasty breakfast (bacon, tomatoes, scrambled eggs) professionally prepared by Jagdish and Nicola. These two people do their best to please us customers. We always feel relaxed in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyed every bite and not to forget the excellent coffee.
This place is amazing. So friendly and polite. They always know what I want and make it from scratch. The staff are aware of train times so make sure they try and do it quick enough for you. My favourite place to go before going home. They do all sorts of foods and hot drinks. Definitely Recommend.
Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Their First class lounge is miles better than what you usually get.
The prices in this independent shop are cheaper than the big coffee chains even with their huge economies of scale.
I can't add anything about an awesome mountain from all the great reviews. I will limit this to the pro-tips I wish I knew before I came:Take the Shuttle! I hate shuttles but loved these. The drivers both ways were beyond awesome.Take the Mile 13 shuttle. 7 is too long and I (you?) don't want to drive above the tree line.
Oh how I wish that service everywhere was as good and as friendly as this. The coffee was excellent and hot chocolate the best ever (apparently). and not made from powder.
Definitely worth a visit. And if you're going to the Hepworth gallery, it's just a five minute walk from Kirkgate station.
Highly recommended.
Brilliant cafe, serves actual proper coffee served in appropriate sized cups. My cortado was delicious, the correct size and the lady was so welcoming. Pity we don't pass through Kirkgate more often.
