I've eaten here a few times now. The food is very good (I have spent quite a bit of time in India, and tried everything from street food, student eateries and Indian fine dining. The food here is really great. The service is really friendly and manages that fine balance between efficient service and loitering. They also offer some more unusual dishes for the more adventurous.
Really nice place with a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The staff are brilliant and friendly. I've had better food but it's certainly up there with the best.....very close to 5 stars but just the thin strips of chicken instead of chunks/cubes let it down but that is just down to personal preference .
The food is authentic an full of traditional spices well presented an cooked to perfection the chefs can certainly cook and no their culture!! All the staff are so polite and friendly! If you want to experience traditional Indian food this is the place to go leaves other Indian restaurants standing in the area no comparison!

So we decided to call here for the 1st time yesterday with some friends. On the arrival we noticed the outside was clean and inviting. Once inside we was greeted by a member of the staff who was very polite and very friendly and smartly dressed. We was shown our table and from this point on it was perfect, the food was so nice, warm, fresh, very tasty and most important NON of the food was swimming in oil like some other restaurants. I can honestly say this is the best Indian I've been to for a long time and will certainly be calling again. If your looking for a good Indian call here in our opinion it's worthy of a 10/10 from us. So just an update, I called last night to get a take way as the food was nice looking at my previous review. I ordered a chicken Madras 2 poppadoms and a pint of lager whilst I waited, £13 bit expensive but I thought ok as long as it's nice, WRONG, 5 pieces of chicken and loads of sauce, total rip off will not go back for a take away ever again, so disapointed.
Honestly the best cooked Indian food in Huddersfield. You can tell a little by the smells within a restaurant, the aroma of fresh cooked food filled the room. Everything is cooked to order so it is so fresh when arriving at you table. The staff were amazing, we had a chap called folic a day another chap who I'm sorry didn't remember his name, but they made you feel so welcome, explained the menu, we are going again tonight that's how amazing it is, it's a dine out not a fast food so we enjoyed the time we had there, there was no rush.
I'd defo recommend it to anyone, it's not a commercial Indian.

Always superb quality food. Very helpful and attentive staff, who love giving advice on menu choices, if asked. Gotta like staff with genuine smiles on their faces !
Lovely food fresh and tasty and owner/waiter was very friendly. He helped me choose a nice dish and made it exactly how I wanted it but nicer.
