Kings Arms - Wakefield - Photo album

3 pints of excellent Real Ale, each one better then the last. Had two Yorkshire blondes and a gluten free Silver King. They also had another Yorkshire Bitter and a white rat which I'll try very shortly hopefully. Walked through Wakefield Common and up to a green popular with picnickers. Best Saturda
Love it, Sundays and a great place to be. Lovely walks in the area. Nice Ossett Brewery beer, Saltire Blond is nice. The price I set was for Beers, food is nice but I don't know the prices. Been a few years since I had dinner at the King's Arms.
Lovely pub. Stopped by on a long bike ride and sat outside at one of the many tables on the field. Great selection of Ossett Brewery ales on offer.
Great cask ale selection (predominantly Ossett) but kept well and everything I drank was excellent. Beautiful setting with lots of outdoor seating. There was a pizza van serving when we visited (Sunday lunch) but I think normally do food too.
A lovely, traditional pub in an absolutely beautiful location. The views outside are fantastic. The service was speedy and the two staff that we spoke to were friendly and polite. Our drinks were perfect. The weather was extremely hot, so we sat outside in the shade of a large tree. A pleasure that
My favourite local pub! Traditional surroundings and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with real fires in the bar and front lounge. Serves real ales at a good price and the food is lovely. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints!
Beautiful environment. Great staff. Not sure about Thai food only in a small country pub? Personally I believe they should be serving good Pub food... pies and mash, fish and chios etc. Good luck on your choices though.l
Such a warm welcome. Excellent customer service by Bar staff .Food was excellent. Selection of beer was great and definitely hit the spot .Well worth a visit if you enjoy Thai food .
One of the few remaining untouched boozers, which thankfully has a decent crowd despite being in the middle of nowhere. A throwback interior which should probably be in a museum and a carpet which has been carbon dated to be older than the Turin Shroud. Excellent local beer at a reasonable price. I
Great pub very traditional, good beer lines, Thai food is on the menu, the starter was great, very good quality, started with mixed starter the dipping sauces were fantastic, over all well worth a visit
First time I've ever been I loved it I will definitely go back there I'm gunna go back to try the food wish that pub was in Huddersfield that would be my regular pub great real ale and very reasonably priced can't fault it
Great! tasty pub food and plenty of it, you can taste the fresh herbs used in the meatballs i had, yummy!! Of course the staff are very friendly, super location to walk off the food and beer
Just called by this public house for a drink outside on a glorious sunny day , my friend did the honours and bought the drinks , I stayed outside. He says it was like walking into a time capsule, it still had its original fixtures and fittings , including gas lights ( but not working ) I think. The
A Takeaway menu is available. We stopped here while doing a walk and shared a fish butty and chips WOW. Absolutely amazing. Fresh fried fish and a super soft barm. What I think were triple cooked chips.....awesome. some tartar sauce.....delicious. Very friendly and welcoming. There was a steady
Lovely old pub serving Thai food - a first for me! Lots of gluten-free choice too - definitely a winner!
Quiz might at The Kings Arms. Lovely warm and cosy, everyone friendly and welcoming. Nice Yon Lager 🍺, open fire, nibbles and chilli and fries. What more do you want on a dank and windy night. Highly recommended.
Always a good time to be had. Shame that they have stopped serving proper food and only do Thai, not for everyone's taste. Especially for a country pub.
