The Sun Inn Flockton - Wakefield - Photo album

Food was nice, but the hanging kebabs were really salty. The young lad serving us did really well, his 5th night in the job. A little bit too eager, asking us if we had finished while we were clearly still eating and then asking us if we wanted the bill whilst clearing our plates. Overall really nic
Our car broke down in their car park, the staff were very kind to us. We also had some food there while waiting for the mechanic. The food was great. I really enjoyed sitting outdoor.
Lovely place! Dog friendly! They even have treats on the bar! The guy who served us was lovely and offered to take stuff outside for us. Will definitely be popping in for a drink in the sun more often.
Very good steak served just as I like it with proper chips hot wings for starters were very tasty too ..we will be returning
A fantastic dog friendly pub. I had the lasagne and it was perfect for me, the staff were fantastic. Next time I'm in the area will definitely go back
An excellent Sunday Lunch today. Fantastic service, our waitress even remembered I was gluten free when it came to dessert. Delicious food and the largest Yorkshire Puddings we’ve ever seen!
What a lovely find! Took our 18 year old here for her first official drink and a meal. Outside eating only at the moment but the owners have installed covered decking and heaters and although it was a cold windy day we didn't feel it! The nachos and jalapeño starter fed all four of us and the main
Lovely environment - well presented highly tasty food. The lamb was somewhat lost in gravy though. May be best to have separate gravy boat. Sadly insuffcient time allocated at table for 3 course meal for our table of 7. We were shown the dessert menu and told that they needed the table in 5 minutes
Lovely pub, nice friendly atmosphere. Had the Sunday lunch 2 course £20 which was good value. The food was good, thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely return 👍
I’ve eaten here a few times now and the food is always delicious. A lovely little gastro pub with a few cask ales on the bar, warm and friendly atmosphere open fires and a lovely setting. Quite pricey I feel £84 for Sunday dinner for 3 with starters and 4 cokes. I will go again though soon.
Great food. Excellent service. Surroundings are beautiful. Staff brilliant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely pub and perfectly situated. Just wish they had a decent ipa.

Enjoyed a good pint of Taylors golden best and steak and ale pie. What can be better for a Saturday lunch..
Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Good choice too. Staff so friendly. Def go back if not barred. Had a good birthday celebrations and even had complimentary drinks for the birthday girls.
Went for Sunday lunch and the choice was great with the biggest Yorkshire pudding I think I've ever seen. The vegetables were all fresh and very tasty. The pub itself is very warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly. I would recommend you book in advance as it was very busy at lunchtime.
Called in here today on the off chance we could get a table as I'd been told about the Sunday dinners.... Managed to get a table outside as all the tables inside was reserved - I now understand why.... Everything from the food down to the atmosphere of the pub was brilliant. Customer service was br
