The Queens Arms - Wakefield - Photo album

Came here today for the first time for some food. We had the Sunday roast and the food was absolutely delicious. Far better than other places, this was actually very tasty. Great, welcoming, friendly staff that were very helpful. Blacksheep on tap too, so I knew this place was going to be a hit. Wil
I was in Wakefield staying in a hotel close and me and a friend were looking to eat somewhere in the vicinity. We've passed the pub which is on Denny Dale Road previously on the way to the city centre but had never been in. We both opted for the quick bite; 4 oz rump steak (cooked to your liking) dr
I really enjoyed my Sunday lunch. I've eaten in and had a takeaway o several occasions. Very good value for money everything is delicious particularly the meat, cauliflower cheese and the gravy. The homemade pies are also well worth a taste.
Called in for lunch and tucked into the steak and peppercorn pie. It was absolutely amazing. Atmosphere is amazing and Fran does nothing but look after everyone in the pub. Lovely friendly local with great beers in draught and a great selection of drinks. Will definately be back.
Very smart, local pub. Nice decor, reasonable prices & very friendly service. I believe the food is also very good but not tried it yet. Well worth a visit if in the area.
Fantastic atmosphere. Very friendly staff/locals and I highly recommend trying their food menu too.
We will be back. Called in after pur Sunday dog walk! Dog friendly, people friendly and amazing food.... bonus there was so much gf choice. Cant wait to check out the beer garden in summer
Absolutely gorgeous food. Very friendly service. It was a bit slow admittedly but the wait was definitely worth it considering how lovely the food tasted. Beautifully decorated pub with a happy friendly atmosphere. I'd love to come back here very soon 😊
Went to a 60th birthday party the buffet was the best by far I have ever had. Such choice.and quality food. Never seen such a lay out. The pork pie was to die for. So many different dishes not your sausage on sticks and sausage rolls and curled up sandwiches kind of do. Such a credit to all involved
Fantastic pub, very tasty food and price. Great atmosphere
Lovely pub with great food and a fine selection of drinks. Large outdoor seating area for those sunny days too. Never seems to be over busy, which is strange but great for those who do call in.
Brilliant team serving good quality food and atmosphere
Just had a cheese burger and gotta say its the best I've had in ages. My work mates also agreed. Shame this place don't do food on a Monday and Tuesday. Prices for food and drink are reasonable. Back working in wakey again next week, will visit again.
Great place for a functions. Thank you to all the staff
Staff here are always polite and friendly. Very welcoming place. They have added more outdoor seating some under a large gazebo. Can get busy so some days maybe good to ring and book. They are serving food. Still enough parking if you aren't drinking. (Don't drink and drive) good place for a nice pi
Walking my daughter's Dog Isla popped in for an hour beef sandwich with my wife Beverley. Fantastic skin on chips With it. Glad there was a bit of sun outside. Not been for a few years. Will be revisiting at some point.
I think it must be 25 years since I was here. Lovely place, very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Much bigger than it looks. Flat car park and entrance. Toilets also flat entrances. The pub spaniels sat on my foot so I couldn't leave.
Fabulous as always. Food lovely and landlady very friendly and welcoming. Defo recommend
