The Red Kite - Wakefield - Photo album

The Red Kite is beautiful inside, very warming, and there are plenty of places to sit. There were 2 reasons why we only gave a 4 star, which were Service Speed and Price. Service was a little slow, and we did end up waiting for a good 20 minutes before we got any orders in and over 45 minutes for th
Enjoyed delicious sirloin of beef for Sunday lunch & a super tasty banoffee pie for afters. You can never go wrong with a Vintage Inn and our server, Claire, was lovely and helpful. Great location too, as not far off the motorway for a half way meeting point.
The service and the atmosphere were great. Nice garden area. I enjoyed most of my food but wish I had chosen something else instead of the Haddock Kedgeree Fishcakes.. I think they need looking at. 🙊The Paté was beautiful though. Will be back.
Lovely food staff really friendly, chloe justyna and Liam made it extra special.will come again !!
Spent valentines evening here for a nice meal. There was an offer on for a three course menu. This is a nice rustic old English pub, warm and welcoming with fires burning and woodern beams and old photos of the local area. The menu was good with plenty of choice, the food was delicious and well pr
Such a beautiful place! We popped in for Sunday Lunch and we're so glad we did. The food was amazing, and our server Liam was fantastic. It has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, and the best Sunday dinner we've ever had. Thank you! 😁
Weekday couples evening meal at our local Vintage Inns. We were served by a new waitress called May. She was really lovely - smiley, helpful, presentable and very polite. In restaurants, I find there can be a fine line between being attentive / helpful, and being over intrusive, the latter of which
Amazing service, served by Emily, who is extremely obliging and well informed about the menu and and the app. She took our order promptly and also went into the kitchen to ask if they could offer the lasagne, even though it was a Sunday. Perfect meal!

Katie and Claire looked after me very well especially after my long journey! My third visit here and both are always friendly, professional and definitely hard working! The pub and restaurant was full but they always make you feel welcome. Food is delicious as always.
I've eaten at the Red Kite a couple of times whilst travelling for work and it is a typical 'Premier Inn' pub, tidy, spacious and serves typical pub fare. Food is decent, nothing special but I don't think people expect a gastronomic delight. Staff are very friendly and kind. Indoors it can be a bit
Such an excellent experience. Food was so tasty and service very good! Definitely recommend camembert and duck pate. It was so delicious. It was that good that we came back to ask for names staff in duty as you are big credit for company. Jacob, Dan, Joe, Liam and Ellen - well done!
Claire was an excellent server, very friendly and efficient and always there if we needed anything. Food was perfect, way more than we expected but enjoyed by all. Will definitely be back!
It was too hot to cook so we went to the Red Kite, food was lovely but so was the service. The ladies serving were so lovely. We shared Camembert, I had the pork and my partner had a big burger. We both really really enjoyed the food and the evening. Thanks team!
