The Navigation Pub - Wakefield - Photo album

Great pub. Nice find. By canal, has a nice play area for kids, deceptively large compared to what it seems from outside. Friendly service. Busy but not too busy. Food was good but bit of a wait but worth it. Drinks good big pricey considering it's out in sticks in wakey. They also had good options f
Love this place. Great atmosphere lovely food. Great for a quick drink little flat walk. Then back for more drinks and food. Just remember to register your car number plate when you arrive.
Nice food. Considering it was quiet customer-wise and the ordering and payment was via an app, the service was not the quickest. When it is busy, I suggest ordering ahead! Once we were served, the young woman was pleasant and courteous and ensured we had all we needed. Loved the choice of a dog frie
It was a very sunny day and the Navigation Inn has quite a sizeable terrace with children's play area adjoining the canal. Didn't actually go inside to sit but it looked very inviting. Certainly an ideal stop for canal boats with visitor moorings with rings. They have quite an expansive food menu wi
We stopped off for a bite and pint during our Sunday paddle. We had chip butties that were pretty good to be honest. I think the chips were double cooked making them crispy and tasty. The staff were polite and prompt and up for light hearted, fun banter.
We've been going to wakefield for years and never came across this beautiful place, we were going to turn back from the bridge but carried on over and what a surprise, its a beautiful quiet pub, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We didn't eat this time but definately coming back from the p
Moored up the boat and went for food and drinks. Great place, big beer garden with a play area for the kids. Food was lovely, staff really nice and the lager went down a treat 😋
Lovely pub sited beside the canal path - ideal for walks. Children's play area is small but good enough. Plenty of outside seating as well as that inside. Reasonable prices across the selection of draught and bottled drinks. Dogs welcome.
Lovely setting next to the canal. The kids love the play area and the food is delicious. Would definatly recommend.
We loved this pub. It was quiet at 5pm Thursday. This suited us though. Food was lovely. We had vegetable lasagne homemade chips and salad, bbq ribs h/m chips and h/m coleslaw and plaice. All lovely. Carte dor ice-cream for after with a very nice flat white coffee. Staff friendly and helpful t

Hidden gem. Staff really friendly, food really nice. Would definitely recommend this place. Would absolutely come again.
Great little pub with a child friendly play area and tables outside so you can keep an eye on the children whilst relaxing. Just had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Navigation, staff friendly and food lovely.
Lovely location next to the canal and dog friendly (they even have a doggy menu!), only down side is it expensive for drinks and food - but the food is worth it.
Lovely pub by the canal, the food was amazing, Ham & Chicken pie with chips, veg & gravy, Ceaser Salad(massive size) freshly made and tasted amazing, we will definitely be back.
Stayed in car park overnight. Had a really good meal Friday night. Very reasonable, chips were best I've had in years.
