Quirky, cosy, intimate and exceptionally friendly. The coffee and service was excellent and the cake (best yorkshire Parkin) gorgeous. It might be one of the smallest bookshops I've been into but the range of children's books, was excellent. There are adult books as well and the owner will happily talk books or order what you need if he hasn't got it in.
I was there during the evening, and it proved to be a perfect venue for a spoken word event... It's only a five minute walk from the bus or train station. Perfect for young children as well, no stairs!

Very pleasant shelter from the rain today. Only had a lovely latte coffee but will definitely return when next in Wakefield and sample some gluten free.
Hope we don't need the grizzly bear umbrella stand lol

Gorgeous little cafe with a very interesting theme. Sit down with a drink and read one of the books available. Came here with a friend, bit pricey in my opinion but might just be worth it to support a nice local business with a unique theme.

A fantastic local independent café with an excellent selection of "brews, bites and books"! ;). Friendly manager/owner and staff. A calm and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend it.

Very friendly staff and so were the customers. My 12 week old was a little under the weather and everyone was so nice about it. Coffee is very good also. Recommend it
