What a fantastic spa day we had, from start to finish, the staff were so helpful, friendly and very accommodating, we had use of the pool and facilities then over to the spa where I’ve got to say that it was one of the best places I’ve ever been ! Once again the staff there are all very professional treatment rooms are amazing and the relaxation room was simply beautiful. I highly recommend everyone to stay or go for a day of R & R, beautiful setting and a beautiful place . Thank you to all the staff for making my day there memorable xx

Me and my Wife recently got married at the venue. The whole day ran smoothly and was a fantastic experience. Pauline the Wedding Co-ordinator and the rest of the staff were brilliant and more than helpful throughout the whole process and day. The ceremony room on the spa side of the venue was set up promptly in the morning and looked amazing. The canapés that were provided were out of this world and there were plenty for all the guests as well as a welcome drink each. The breakfast room looked incredible and blew away our expectations. Simply stunning. The meal was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The boathouse was an ideal size for our wedding party and the DJ was phenomenal. The buffet food was top quality and very fresh which was appreciated by all of our guess. Most of our guests stayed at least one night over the weekend and they were fantastic. Clean, modern and a comfy stay. All I can say is that we had the time of our lives and the rest of the guests were blown away by the venue. Would highly recommend this to anybody considering getting married in the near future.
What can I say? Stayed 1 night for a relaxing break and found this betiful, peacefull place tucked away. Absolutely stunning place and setting, staff very friendly, room was superb. Cannot rate the place high enough. I will be back :) Thank you to everyone
Me and Emily had our wedding reception here in 2017 and from the start of the day to the end it was just amazing.
The staff couldn’t do enough throughout the day to help and it was appreciated so much.
All of our guests have commented to us that the venue was picturesque and how it was the best wedding they have been to...again down to the staffs help and professionalism.
We returned last night for our 1st anniversary and again staff courteous and professional.
The food both breakfast and evening meal are superb.
Cannot recommend Waterton Park enough.

We had our wedding at Waterton on the 7th September 2017 and I can easily say it was the best day of my life. The staff at the hotel were all fantastic and the wedding coordinator Nikki was great every step of the way! All our guests thought the venue was amazing and they enjoyed the wedding breakfast also. A special thanks has to go to the DJ- i think he played practically everything I asked for and even dealt with a last minute request from me that I thought had been sorted out previously! I also used a make up artist from the hotels spa for my bridal make up & she was fab. Id definitely recommend having a spa day the day before the big day, I did and it really helped to relax me! I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else and I am so pleased we found this venue!
We got married at Waterton yesterday and I cannot thank you all enough. The day was absolutely perfect. Extra special thanks go to Pauline for being so wonderful throughout, to Paul for being so sweet and lovely and organising our afternoon, and to Chris for looking after us all evening. And to the staff who very kindly hunted down some vegetarian meals in a nano second for 2 of my guests that I hadn’t been made aware were vegetarian. You all went above and beyond, we are eternally grateful. Beautiful setting, excellent service. Would recommend to everyone.

My husband & I have just come back from celebrating our 2nd Wedding Anniversary at Waterton Park. We absolutely loved and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone. We booked one of the beautiful suits overlooking the lake and recieved flowers, champagne & chocolates on arrival. We stayed overnight and enjoyed a lovely three course meal in the evening, followed by an equally lovely breakfast the morning. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Fantastic place went for a wedding night do. I spent a couple hours in the pool sauna steam room and jacuzzi. Rooms a lovely and breakfast this morning was good.
What wonderful wedding held 23 June by James & Alex Dyson. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were welcoming and very helpful. The grounds are first rate and everything about the day and night was superb. Very well done.
We had our wedding there on Friday 29th December 2017 and all the staff were absolutely amazing, they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much effort. Pauline was our Wedding Coordinator and in all honesty we couldn’t have asked for anyone better she was amazing! Ever so grateful for all the staff making it an amazing experience 🥂🎉💐

Except the DJ is rubbish! Get your own in! We got married here a year ago and everyone was awesome! From the food to the staff to the room to the wedding coordinator and her mum who does the chair covers etc! Xxx
If you enjoy playing golf then you will absolutely love Warterton Park, from the moment you arrive at the club the staff look after you so well. The amenities are second to none, it is disabled friendly large doors, disabled toilets. The catering again,there are no complaints about the food, all the food we had for the day was excellent no complaints at all. A great day enjoyed the golf unfortunately Waterton Park GC could not help me with the weather. Many thanks for a great day.
This is has been my home club for the last 12 yrs or so. Fantastic golf course. Even through this dry spell the greens are some of the best in this area. Friendly staff always makes you feel welcomed to the club

We were there for a function, service good, food excellent, but with all these type of places behind the scenes needed some love, toilets old and tired and in need of a facelift, definitely straight out the 70s.

Never heard of Waterton Park before, but what a gem. Visited with our Society and was really impressed with the whole venue. Great practice facilities and what a fantastic challenging course layout that was in fantastic condition. Will definitely look at opportunities to revisit.

Greens are better than ever, course is really coming to life at this time of year lots of work from employees and volunteers to keep the course in fantastic condition

UPDATE: The greens are absolutely phenomenal for the time of year! Green Staff are out of this world and to be cherished.
I have rarely experienced such friendly, wonderful and extraordinarily helpful people as the Secretary and Head Professional. Their commitment to providing exemplary customer service is second to none and commend them in the highest possible terms.
The course is absolutely amazing, each hole sculpted into an amazing landscape, far away from the troubles of the world. The views and setting, around a lake, is quite unlike any course I've played to date. The golf is almost secondary!
Expect a real challenge to your game and your fitness. Next time I'll hire a buggy, simply because I was nearly comatose after being dragged around by my trolley! Apart from the sense of was just a tad too hard for my own meagre ability I thoroughly enjoyed my round of golf in the most stupendous surroundings.
All in all, a wonderful experience enhanced by such an accommodating attitude from everyone involved with the Club and it's management.
Hidden gem doesn't quite adequately describe Waterton Park. I'm certain of a return.

Worse experience of my life. Really hard course. My mate nearly killed a duck.
It's a wonderful golf course with great facilities. There's a changing room, a pro shop, a driving range, a putting green and even a halfway house where you can buy drinks and sandwiches after the first nine holes. There is also a bar and recreation area for refreshments after you finish your game. All in all in my opinion, this is a great place to play golf and enjoy the facilities.

A group of 12 had a great day of golf here today. A testing course, great greens and great service at the club.
We booked for Sunday lunch for a party of 13 including 2 children. The food was delicious and hot served to us all at the same time; no waiting. Plenty of choice on the menu even for the younger ones. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely venue with plenty of car parking.
