This is the first time we come here , I like the spacious car park, environment and music, special thanks to Tristan, he is very friendly to me and my kids, and we like the food that Jack cooked , we will come again next time.
Natalie the Landlady was lovely. Made us all feel Super welcome. The food was fantastic big thanks to Hayden. We will be back.

The staff were really polite and friendly, informing us of a slight delay in food orders which was great. The food was ok, it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special, just your usual pub grub. It was however priced very fairly in my opinion which was a bonus. The one downside to our visit however
Thank you to Nat at The Sun today. Came in for dinner today and the service was great. A young gent served us our food which was delicious, great service around from the bar staff and credit to the chef for the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back soon
We went for a family meal to celebrate our grandsons birthday. The barman, sorry I don't know your name, was really helpful with connecting us to the pub Wi-Fi. Our meal was served by Carole, who was lovely. The amazing food was cooked by Jack. Thanks
Came in the other week for a quick bite with some friends. I had a surf and turf with peppercorn sauce which was cooked to perfection by the chef, Hayden. Lovely gins and really great service throughout my visit!

Lovely meal at the sun today served by the very welcoming Nat. Have to say the service and the food is brilliant here.
Came in with a mate for lunch and it was great. Excellent selection of food and drinks. The lady behind the bar Nat was also very welcoming.
Location
Just on Leeds Road outside of Wakefield, relatively easy to get to. The exterior was fairly well kept.

First time at the sun lovely staff. The food was very nice. Really enjoyed it we will call in again. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🤗🤗 Second time at the sun the career could have been warmer but otherwise a nice pub to call into.
Have come in for food a few times recently and 9 out of 10 times have been served by Kara. Every time we come in she is always kind and greets us with a smile. Today our chef was Scott, and the food was fabulous as always. 100% recommend.
