Nicely decorated pub restaurant. Service was nice and although an error was made, this was quickly rectified. Staff at the till were friendly but shouldn't be so pre-occupied. The food was tasty and presented well. Plenty of parking at the front.
The food was really good and well presented. The staff are polite and friendly. The food is excellent value for money, and I will definitely be visiting again. Christmas day and Boxing excellent prices.

Visited today to try the new menu, Emily was so helpful and attentive! I had the hot porker burger which was amazing, my wife had the veg pizza which she said was tasty and it looked fantastic. Can't wait to return, the place has really turned around since the new management came in August!
Visited the pub today with family. Immediately felt welcomed at the door by Anne! Ordered 2 carveries, 2 pizzas as well as a burger between us and was very happy with the quick service and the speed of food arrival. Pizzas and burgers were some of the best we’ve had, many thanks to Chris and the car
Called in on Monday 28th Nov 2022. Firstly, truly lovely team members working there. Very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help.
Secondly, the place was spotless. Busy pubs can sometimes look like they need a good scrub but this pub is well cared for.

Stopped off for carvery and pizza early bird meals and had beautiful food. Really friendly service, especially Tim . The locals were hilarious and created a really lovely atmosphere.

Lovely pub. Always well presented and clean. Bar staff very friendly and welcoming. Lauren on The carvery is friendly and always happy to help. The meats are well cooked, the veg is fresh with a good choice. The bubble and sweak is a nice addition. Definitely recommend.

Been in today with family, had amazing carveries and also ordered two burgers which came with quick, friendly service. Compliments to Chris and Harry for the delicious food as well as Harriet, Niamh, Emily and Ryan for the wonderful service and being so welcoming!
Had the pizzas a few times and always delicious, try the set menu with 2 or 3 courses which are very reasonably priced.
Stop off here for a refreshing cold drink with my son and his nan.... before travel back home to Liverpool.... very nice, clean place inside with friendly staff... reasonable prices... Good atmosphere, and it also has outdoors bit, which is nice to sit in on sunny day (like we did)... free car parki
Enjoyed a lovely carvery. Cheryl on front of house made a huge difference to the organisation and efficiency. She was really good at her job and despite being very busy she remained customer attentive throughout. Based on today’s experience we will come again.
