Cafe Italia gives you the experience of a North End cafe without the hassel of traveling to Boston and paying tolls and parking. We have never had a bad meal at the Cafe and frequent many a Friday for date night with my wife. They always have great specials. Ask for Giovanni to be your waiter, he's excellent.

Got here right when they opened on a Monday afternoon at 4, plenty of seats available at that time in the restaurant. Really nice ambiance. The food was great and very good portions as well

Visited Caffe Italia with friends that frequent the restaurant. Greeted by a smiling and friendly host. Vinny was our waiter host was friendly and helpful, while letting our party have time to socialize. We had a fantastic scallop appetizer, the amaretto sauce was outstanding. I had the tuna and my wife had the halibut special, both we excellent.
Good service and great food, we will be visiting Caffe Italia again.

Great food. A seat at the bar is always great, the bar tender keeps you engaged if that is something you are okay with. It is advisable to make a reservation because it is a smaller space with limited seating.

first time at Caffe Italia; our Wakefield friends love it and know we know why. i love lamb and found the rack of lamb extremely tasty. my wife also greatly enjoyed her haddock florentine. reasonably priced, plenty of food, and a nice atmosphere -- not at all stuffy but not too noisy either.

Never had a bad meal here and the service has always been great. Gio in the dining room has always taken great care of my wife and I. Braised beef short ribs are amazing and the scallops appetizer is our favorite. They make a great espresso martini and have a nice selection of wine. Prices are great for the quality of the food and aren’t reflective of being in Boston when we aren’t!
