Excellent little cafe, just up from costa.. came in a short while after breakfast had finished and they still made it.. great service and not a long wait.
Lovely cafe decorated nice and clean. Ordered breakfasts and i ordered pesto mozarella toastie which was beaut (pic below). Deffo would go back good value for money and good portions.
Really nice food, good service, friendly staff, and nice place to sit and watch the world go by. However, the atmosphere is spoiled by music that is probably more suited to a Friday night than a Tuesday morning.
It was all lovely, perfect to just sit in and chat ☺️
The full English is lovely. Fresh hot and tasty! The girl was very friendly.. service was a little slow but it was good.
I came today with 3 friends and was unexpectedly verbally assaulted by another customer about my clothes (baggy jeans and a knitted cardigan), who walked around to other customers to try and get them to engage in talking negatively about me. After I called the lady out for her behaviour, the staff (as well as other customers) came to help and once they had established the facts they asked the woman to leave and apologised that this happened. They were very friendly and we felt very comfortable even after this, they were clearly concerned for the happiness and experience of myself and other customers who had to witness the incident.
The food was delicious and came quickly and everything was reasonably priced. The atmosphere (after the woman had been removed) was relaxed and friendly, the food and drinks alone are reason enough to come back, but the staff have earned my sincerest thanks today and they are definitely an added bonus.

Went in for a sandwich with wife today and the food was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful, definitely go again to say it was busy had out food within 10 minutes so very chuffed
Just had breakfast here with my boyfriend and we both absolutely loved our food and drinks! My pancakes left me so full, will definitely be coming back again!! The staff are extremely friendly too
My partner and I had a lovely breakfast here, the pancakes came with decorative flowers which looked very pretty and my breakfast sandwich was delicious!
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff!
Went here with my sister. We both ordered Greek salad. It was a bit dissapoining because it arrived as a bowl of lettuce, with crumbled feta, tomatoes, onion and a few olives. We expected no lettuce....Tomatoes onion, cubed feta, cucumber and olives. It was served in a small deep bowl, which was hard to eat out of.
Having said that...We loved the atmosphere with the music, and the assistants were friendly. Other people's food looked very nice. 😊
Visited with my friend for lunch, it was relatively quiet on a Monday about 11:30ish so we were able to get in with our two prams / pushchairs - staff were really helpful and helped us get to a table. High chairs available, really friendly staff and well priced good food.
Outstanding Service. Warm and friendly welcome, and great choice of food on offer. A must to visit when in Wakefield.
Been today for breakfast was absolutely amazing the poached eggs done to perfection (runny) the bacon done just as we asked it to be done (very well done). Thank you we will be back
Very good cafe coffee v good fruit scone can come with butter jam and cream very naughty but nice .
