Only pub in Wallingford (and we tried a few) which was serving food at 3.30pm on a Sunday and made us and our dog truly welcome. Special mention to our waitress Hannah - really friendly and helpful

Staying locally and saw the sign outside recommending Fish and Chips so I gave it a go. It didn't disappoint, and it was nice to have fresh lemon and tartare sauce served with it . Batter was crispy altho' a little on the heavy side . I also ordered drinks and a dessert ( chocolate mocha tart) which was also tasty. It's a pub geared towards drinkers so the atmosphere was in keeping with that, rather than fine dining. Also the food service was a little slow , as waited nearly half an hour, and given that I was a solo diner this seemed excessive for a Weds eve. Can't fault the barman though. All in all worth a visit for standard no frills pub fayre.

A standard Greene King pub, but in a superb position beside the River Thames at Wallingford. Decent food and real ales at realistic prices, but it's the location that makes all the difference!

Busy pub, very quick food, which was great, I was hungry! 😋 All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel really welcome on a busy Saturday. Will return and recommend it to others!

Lovely outdoor seating right by the river, halloumi fries and chips were lovely as sides. Ordered through the app and drinks were discounted.

We have popped in for a quick bite on our journey back home as it did attract our attention. Very popular place amongst locals and travelers, so be prepared it will be very busy. Nice selection of food and drinks. Very strict covid rules. Toilets are inside of the building and are open for public to use and very clean. All staff are very polite, helpful and very attentive to your needs. We were told that food waiting time would be around 45 minutes, which we agreed to and and it was spot on, so no complaints there! Beautiful river near by with lots of boats on, which you can rent too! Absolute picturesque place and would recommend to any one who wants to enjoy their meal or drinks in very relaxing atmosphere. The car park just across the bridge on another side from there.
