Congratulations to all concerned - Five Stars All Round. We were out for a drive, saw this pretty pub and thought this is just what we are looking for. So we stopped and took our two dogs in. I was supplied with a chair as I am disabled and cannot manage benches. Then we were served by charming
Lovely lunch in their pretty garden with my mum. Lamb pie was tasty but mum's smoked mackerel was totally delicious, so fresh and pretty, it was delightful. Friendly and helpful service too.
Popped in for a drink on the way past...so glad I did! Ended up getting the best sandwiches...freshly put together, great flavours, and no stingy filling either! Even comes with home made crisps! Will definitely be going again, and have already told family to head there too.
Wonderful pub! We sat in the garden on a beautiful evening, listening to the birds singing and eating fantastic food. What more could you want? Will definitely be going back!
Perfect country pub. Lovely and clean, great food, great staff and reasonably priced beer. You can't ask for more.
Cozy pub in the countryside. Great menu, good selection of beers and friendly staff. Nice seating area outside.
Good food. Good service. A little out of the way.
Very nice rural pub, good food and excellent beers.
Fabulous pub, fine people and great food. Highly recommended.
Went down one Saturday evening with a friend. I ordered the Vegan burger, he had the home-made pie and we both had a pint. Service was really good, food fantastic and the beer was very nice as well. So good in fact that I took my daughter down a few days later. I had a warm salad, she had the vegan
Inside no thrills, nice big grounds with plenty of outside seating. Substantial parking opposite the pub. Staff accommodating and friendly. Food deserves special mention. We were pleasantly surprised! Small menu but executed to perfection. 4 of us had 4 different dishes and everything was spot on. W
Lovely pub, nice garden and quiet spot along a walk.
Traditional pub, inglenook fireplace, great food and friendly staff.
Had a great Sunday lunch here yesterday, for Boxing Day with the family. Top quality food and service! Food included some decent vegetarian options as well as everything for meat-eaters. Great atmosphere and a good range of beers too. Dog-friendly. Many thanks to all the staff.
Brilliant food, great service. Will definitely return
Cosy pub with delicious food, prices are fair and portions are very generous. Great lunch stop if you're doing the Ockley to Warnham walk.
Fantastic food and really friendly service - what more could you want from a pub!
