This is our go-to Indian restaurant. Staff are always friendly & accommodating. Food is consistently good & always hot on arrival. Even when super busy, you aren't rushed into ordering.

Really great restaurant. It wasn't overly busy inside. Service was good, not over attentive and when you need someone, no one is looking around to grab their attention. The only downside I'd say is they had a closed dessert place next door that said is opening soon but they said the same last year. There were no desserts on the main menu but after we finished eating, we weren't offered any extra dessert menu and were told after that they did have one. That was a shame because we probably would have ordered. Also their signage outside says they do a Sunday buffet which sounds great but when we asked they don't do it anymore, in that case they should remove the sign as it is misleading. All in all, food was tasty and great atmosphere.

Had a delicious meal at The Royal oak tonight, for my birthday as a family of 4.The naan was so nice as was the chicken curry. My family all enjoyed their meals too.

Had meal during the week for myself and partner, service was first-class. Lovely atmosphere, clean and well set out. Wonderful food, very tasty, cooked to perfection and no long waiting time to enjoy it. Well worth the money, but we did have an expensive bottle of wine.

First time visiting and will definitely go again. Plenty of choice on the menu. Food was some of the best we've had and the staff were very freindly. Probably worth booking a table rather than just walk in at the weekend. We went at 6pm and it was fairly quiet, by the time we left it was almost full.

Just got back from eating at this restaurant tonight. I booked this place for my birthday meal with family. To say there were no faults is an understatement.. they went above and beyond my expectations.. they started by giving us the perfect table (my Mom is very fussy�), with their perfect mood lighting, it gave a relaxed atmosphere. The service was faultless from start to finish. The food was better than I've tasted in other Indian restaurants, my favourite being their garlic,
chilli chicken tikka masala. They are doing a fantastic job!! We're booking up for Christmas �

Please do not judge a book by it's cover, the blue of the building belies the stylish decor inside. The special 4 course meal for £10.95; Sunday to Wednesday, was beautiful. Staff very friendly and efficient. It's also licensed.

We have been having takeaways from here for a while now and never had any problems. It was my birthday on Thursday and me, my husband and our Son decided to go and have food in the restaurant rather than a normal takeaway. We couldn't fault anything about the service, staff and food. I would recommend everyone to go and have food from here (whether it be a takeaway or eat in the restaurant). I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff and we will be back again soon. xx
