Love this place so very much. I'm super proud to say it's my local. Ellie and the team are just brilliant. You can be sure if you are popping in on your lunch break, going to and event there, or grabbing a roast , you won't be disappointed.
Ellie is always supporting our community too, and that's the cherry on top of the cake 💜
Great pub, lovely staff - ordered tea and got Tea Pigs so it was a good indication of what was to come, good food and the prices are super low.
Stumbled upon this pub after needing to go to a greyhound rescue kennel nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the Yorkshire pudding wrap was great. Had never seen this as an option before and partly ordered it because I was feeling too lazy to eat with a knife and fork but it was the best roast I've had in ages. You miss out on the veg but a fair compromise and it comes with a pot of gravy to dip your wrap into :)
Popped in at random as we were in the area and were really nicely surprised. Staff are friendly and can't do enough for you and the Sunday dinners were very good and reasonably priced. The Yorkshire pudding wraps are worth visiting for alone.

Came here for a few pints with my old man for a catch up. Happy to say that there is free pool on Thursdays which was a great laugh. Haven’t tried the food, so unfortunately can not comment on that.

Went there for a sad occasion of a wake.
However, found the food there was excellent.

The Queens head is a really nice pub/Restaurant that has recently been refurbished to a high standard inside and out....

well worth a visit if you are in the area..
Also plenty of parking with car parks both sides of the pub.

What a find! Bradley managed to find us a table, we had a wicked Yorkshire wrap roast which the manager called a ‘hug’ - she was right! Small sensible menu of classics and riffs on the same nicely executed for a clearly devoted clientele.
Cozy, friendly, atmospheric and staffed by some lovely people - wish it were my local I would be in and out constantly. We were totally spoilt and hope to return
Lovely dog friendly pub! Food was great, limited menu but something for every taste. Staff are super friendly and my family enjoyed lunch. Will be visiting again!

Pop in here for a beer or 2 every now & then & today April 23 decided to pop in for a roast & as the Mrs said 'That was Banging😂' ... Ellie & her staff have always been not only great but like publican's used/should be.. always polite , always chat to you & welcome you in... Will be going again to sample more of the food as well as drink due to the fact the foods Banging Lol & for the greatest staff.
My local for years, always a good atmosphere and good selection of drinks
Went into the pub for a drink and to get my son a meal. Got served really quickly, meal was decent. Leah came and checked on us a couple times to check if we needed a refill and to ask about the food. Lovely service from all staff. Will definitely be returning.
