Well I have never had any problem here. Food has always been 100% maybe because I order when I get there, and wait for the food to get cooked.
I get what some people are saying about the lady taking the orders but again I've never had a problem with her.
I must just be the lucky one.
Been a regular customer of theirs for over 15 years. Always enjoy my roast pork and chicken fried rice from them. Decent portion and tasty meals at reasonable price - happy they my local Chinese
This venue has not changed in well over 20+ years. Its pretty much the same and the same staff. But it is amazing. Don't expect to walk in with a smile greeting you because you wont get it. But Sue (the lady who takes your order) Is a loverly lady and when she gets to know you more, You can have some great conversations with her. The food is pretty basic. This is the main reason for the 4 star. But for a quick takeaway its pretty good and i still prefer it to a lot of other takeaways which smother it in sauce. Chow main id says one of the best in Herts. Worth a try and very reasonable prices.
