Odd lady standing back behind the counter didn't acknowledge customers, then the man came out and was very friendly.
Food is good and fresh.
Cash only was slightly annoying as I didn't have any, but cash machine 2 doors down is free.

Fish good,chips could be better. Member of staff assaulted a elderly lady by pushing her out of the shop and shoving her to the pavement where she hurt her side. She started crying and the 'lady' staff member went back in the shop and left her there. Hope she Sue's them. Apparently this member of staff has been negatively mentioned in previous reviews. Must be a family member or would have gone by now.

Been buying our chip suppers here for many years never disappointed. Food is fab and the team are friendly and efficient. What is really nice is there's always a familiar face behind the counter! Now they do deliveries it's tempting (tried once - food was fresh and piping hot, but you can't beat the experience of going into the shop!

Simple, traditional, down to earth chip shop. It's nothing spectacular but the chips taste delicious, just how I remember them when I was younger. The prices are also reasonable with various sizes of portions.

One of the best haddock and chips with curry sauce i have ever had in London, absolutely delicious and super friendly owner. Highly recommended.
