I like this pub, it's rarely crowded, so there is always a space to seat and enjoy the atmosphere. The stuff is extremely friendly and caring. I ordered BBQ chicken wings, but received spicy ones (still delicious, however, felt a little bit dragon), my plate was exchange to the correct one without any issues. Appreciate it and recommend this nice local pub đ

Great pub with plenty of room. Serving good pub food at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Would recommend.

Usually go in for a Strongbow but had a five dish share platter on the Saturday deal as well as a drink. Really enjoyed it. Didn't have to wait too long for it either. Thank you to the staff at the regent.

very lovely pub Iâve recently moved to the area and wanted to watch the women world cup and this was the placed I was told to go. The staff are friendly I was served by a very lovely short girl who I belive was called paige and the food she recommed was amazing the food was delicious and the they even have board games and a pool table to entertain yourself. If you live in the surrey area I woudl definitely recommend coming to this pub.

Neirin was fantastic. Helpful, polite and couldn't do enough. The service was exactly what a lot of pubs are lacking at the moment. Would definitely recommend popping in.

New refurbishment. A lot better now the transformation has been completed. Brighter, new to screens showing sports, including two booths with TVs. Food was ok, large menu with plenty to choose from. Some meals seem a bit excessive (sausage and mash... with 9 sausages) but there are other options.
Beers:- they have manage to keep the selection of real ales, 9 in total along with new craft options, featuring Brewdog Punk IPA and Bluemoon.
There is a DJ on Friday nights and a poker night on Monday.

A lovely place in general, itâs sad that some employees made it hard to enjoy my day. Luckily Brandon was there to make it better, as he always does!

Superb venue , friendly staff specially the door staff, nice music as they have DJ on weekends and karaoke đ€on Sunday.
Reasonable prices compared to other pubs in the area and they do great offers on drinks like 2 for 1 cocktails and nice food aswell as good offers on food. All in all a great place to enjoy an evening, money and time spent is worth it đsurely would recommend it .

Food: delicious
Service: Very friendly, polite & welcoming
Atmosphere: Never been disappointed yet (and that's going all the back to when Wetherspoon first opened The Regent).

Really great service. Bar staff and server all went the extra mile to help us select our drinks and then get table serice.

Great food at good prices.
Warm and friendly.

Lovely pub. Thought at first it was Weatherspoons, appears to be taken over by different chain.
Meal looked like a challenge, Mountain of 9 bangers and mash. About 20 minutes in to ascent and mountain is conquered
Also Punk IPA is 20p cheaper than Weatherspoons. Lovely brew.
Tracey Williams
Great food at a good price. Paige at the bar was friendly and helpful.

I love a good cheap steak and never had a bad one here! Excellent value for money, you would pay double for equivalent locally. X

I really enjoyed the food this evening with my mum and friend but the staff (exept one) was not good at all. Looks like they ignored me most of the times, like when my mum was going to ask for a drink and was not busy hour they just was serving another clients even with the cups or pints empty, even my mum she moved to near to one of the staffs and she moved to another place. Is just not nice the way they treat the clients. Another situation this evening is, I was going to order something and the same happen to me, looks like they ignored me, even I was first one of the staffs told me to wait because he was going to attend another client. Is just unfair and they are discriminate probably because we are not british like another clients.
Hope this will change soon. Because I really like that pub, but the staff are not really nice (special today). Thanks!

The food is fantastic, friendly staff.
We recently had a birthday meal there, staff organised the cake with candles at the right time and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and my daughter had a fantastic time.
Compliments to the head chef.

Went to the regent yesterday with my children for the first time since the pub was sold to the current company (slug and lettuce) from wetherspoons. In summary I was disappointed. The food had a delay of forty minutes, they had run out of basics such as garlic bread. My main food order was also not delivered and had to order a substitute. My daughters Mac and cheese with bacon came without the bacon and my other daughters chicken roast had something that was meant to be mash. They both told me we won't be going here again. I had to agree. Shame as the regent was a good place to eat. It's now an overpriced place that I won't be going to in a hurry.

A nice looking place, not to busy so we asked a male member of staff about the new Christmas menu & he didn't know if it had started & what was on it,even though it had started 2 days before. We got our 3 meals which was ok...but I had the smallest portion of chips ever with my New BBQ burger meal & my Partner had a New Christmas pie mash & peas as did her Mother, there pie was hot but my meal & there other stuff was Luke warm.I would try it again to see if it was a one off, but we go to a great big JD weatherspoons in Wimbledon & it wins hand down,it's almost next to the theatre.

Just walked out one menu for the entire pub, and a long wait for food rather go somewhere else.

Always enjoy The Regent, but your security staff need to be a bit more civil. My 15 year old daughter was approached for ID whilst sitting opposite me and her step dad. It was 8.00pm and we had just ordered a meal. I know after 9pm she would have been too young and we were going to leave before then.

Cheap drink reasonably priced good food friendly staff lovely friendly atmosphere. But could do with some music or live acts at weekends for a better atmosphere but all in all a great place to come with people of any age
Karen Bertie Bassett
Since its been taken over the place is filthy. Needs a good cleaner in, apart from that the pasta dish is lovely and always like the cheap G&T's
Jim Flooks
Lovely breakfast, would of given 5 stars but the barman wouldnât give me an England Jagermeister sticker LOL
Nick Webzell
A total dump, broken chairs, sticky floor, uncleared toilets, poor food and generally unclean
Samantha Linkson
Both times i went without and without my children we enjoyed it very much yes a bit slow with the food but i enjoyed it well worth the wait big meals too will be coming back again
Graham Mckay-Smith
Turn football legend Adrian Bell away at your door? That's still one star too may.

Nice pub pleasant staff....
But very often don't have the food to order in stock..
Seems to be a poor re order system going on here...
Had no beans at breakfast this morning and no milk previously..
Simple stuff really.

Can complain at all. All day breakfast was delicious. Sorted out a hangover from hell.
Joanna Hobson
Ran out of burger buns?
At 13.30
Lunch took over 45 minutes to arrive.
Have informed headoffice.
General don't care attitude,
With lack of communication to customers.
Poor service.
Would of been a better idea to go to Macdonalds.
Ruth Emma Benzimra

Day 1 of our holiday to the UK, and already an intro to English traditional breakfast at a pub!

We love the ÂŁ2.79 big breakfast plate, served with a smile! And as we were there before 2 PM, we got free refills of filtered coffee! Plenty of condiments to accompany our breakfast; and I learned that English mustard is hotter than American one...

Food wise, they're decent. Flavorsome and home coking, would be best serve in the bed feeling.

Definitely a family friendly place. Very roomy, with typical British decoration. Lots of flags, we saw. Clean, efficient and friendly service.

We'll be back. For sure.
