Really amazing place, hidden away from the main road, really friendly locals and staff. A very friendly terrier mix named Harriet was there who only has three legs, used to be named lucky is the rumor. Full of history, a former king met his girlfriend on the sly there, and soldiers during WW2 quench
I love this pub. It's located in the middle of the woods down a dirt track from Walton on the Hill. The beer is excellent.
Utterly unique, a pub captured in time, and always worth the effort of navigating the pot-holed lane. The beer's good too.

Ended up here after a10 mile walk. This is an absolutely lovely little pub. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Great selection of seating and a couple of nice open fires.

A proper locals pub tucked away in some woods down a bumpy path. Nestled in a little hamlet of a few cottages, this small and intimate pub is not grand but it's full of spirit and you are made to feel very welcome.

Fantastic! Traveled back in time - cosy, welcoming, warm, fireplace added to its old charm. Prices ok, service great. I will return soon, and have already reccomended it to friends and family. Loved it
