The Roast dinner was banging, defo recommend. Staff super friendly, right by the sea.

Excellent Seaside Pub
Unlike so many pubs in English Seaside resorts, the Walton Tavern has genuine character. The welcome I received was warm and genuine and service could not have been better.
Beer is of excellent quality, with fair prices and the Tavern serves food to.
If you're in Walton and looking for a cozy place to take a break for refreshment, you won't find better than this.
Pro-Tip: This place is a bit of a secret go-to for off-menu Thai food. Just ask at the bar. :-)

As pubs with a great location go, you can't look much further than this one. It opens right onto the beach, just a road opposite, and with seats outside gives you the views you want (although this seats can be noisy if the road is busy).
Inside the pub has a cheerful interior and the food and drink are very nice, with the staff friendly and amenable.
All in all a good place to stop for lunch or just a drink if you are on the beach or pier.

Went in on the off chance. Very friendly service. Food came up fairly quickly and was perfectly fine.
There was a mishap on an adjacent table when a child fell and smashed some glasses. The staff were there in seconds and within a few minutes everything was back to normal again. We would not hesitate to go back.
Lovely little pub on the coast road. Lager only no Ale. Beautifully cooked scampi and perfect chips. Avoid the peas. The worst peas I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Buck your ideas up and could really be delightful.
Nice big old pub on the sea front. Dog friendly pub. Can sit outside or inside. Not many seats on the outside but if you can get one good views of the sea. Live entertainment here on certain days mainly over weekends. Good place to stop for a pint if visiting Walton peir as not far from there
Walton Tavern has a good range of drinks and is close to the Seafront. The staff were very nice and even made my mother and even made her some homemade Shepherds Pie!
Friendly and helpful staff. Standard pub menu using good quality ingredients. We had the Walton Burgers which were good. Kids meals seemed good as well.
Pretty plain inside and out, but clean throughout.
We went for a carvery we hadn`t booked but the staff fitted us in . Must say this carvery was absolutely lovely. Everything tasted so fresh unlike Toby carvery which has no taste or flavour. Would definitely go back.
Lovely staff make you feel very welcome.

Nice pub right on the sea wall and a short walk from the pier. Food was good value, the hunters chicken and scampi were really good, and they also serve children's meals.
