Lovely place, great service but can get busy so book a table before you go

Fantastic place, even if you're just passing, definitely stop and explore the village.. good dog walk nearby. So much more than a café, friendly, very professional staff, 🐕 loves this place, settles happily in the corner and staff very considerate to four legged customers. Food is great, second time here and consistently excellent quality. Breakfast menu is extensive and lots of healthy and vegan, vegetarian options. Really comfortable, easy to relax and while away time ☺️

We called in to have coffee and brunch on our way to visit friends. The place was lovely and the staff very approachable and friendly. After over 5 weeks in the UK we enjoyed the best cup of coffee we have been served so far and it was good. The menu is very good with lots of choice and the food was delicious.

Absolutely love this place. Food is always delicious and presented well, and the coffee is just gorgeous. Perfect Sunday breakfast place. Highly recommend.

We went for lunch and although very busy the two young ladies were polite, friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait too long for our meals which were excellent . Nice atmosphere and the dogs were welcome too definitely go again.

A really nice place to stop and enjoy some good food. A quaint tearoom/restaurant with a good choice of dishes. Try the coffee and walnut cake. Delicious!

We stopped off for lunch here one Saturday on the way to Newmarket, and the food was good and fresh, and the staff were friendly and attentive. After lunch we had a short walk to explore the old bridge close to the cafe, which was lovely!

First time and I absolutely love the vintage, retro style cafe. Had a date here with only drinks as food was too late. Always works till 4pm. But it was cozy and the staff are so helpful and friendly. will come back. 💕💕💕

Today was our first visit, but won't be our last. We were served by really friendly young ladies, who genuinely wanted to make us welcome. The coffee was very hot as requested and the cakes were moist, light and flavoursome. Refreshing to have such lovely service. Thank you so much.

Booking is recommended as busy. We booked a table for 2 and had a light lunch as last time it was full. Lovely vegetable soup with brown bread, very filling. My friend enjoyed the salmon with avocado and cake. A bit more expensive than our usual place so not a cheap lunch. Very nice place overlooking the Haycock. Attentive staff and prompt service.

A wonderful coffee lounge serving excellent food. There cakes are out of this world. Free WiFi available also.

Popped in for a late breakfast, they were busy but they found us a table and breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked and good service. Other people came in and were turned away because they hadn't booked! Might be worth a phone call before you go.

Attended a surprise 50th party last night. What a fantastic evening! So relaxed and cosy and superb service. Nothing more could have been done. We had the steak & ale pie which was absolutely delicious and the pavlova was to die for! Thank you so much we will definitely be coming back �
