Had the best lunch here today :) Not one to leave reviews often but this place is definitely deserving of one! Starters, mains and desserts were all great. Chris was lovely, thank you for your service. Thank you to the chef for the amazing food and thank you Molly dog for the cuddles. Will definitely return when in the area. Highly recommend a visit here! :)

I am local to The Hare. I used to drink there every week. There has been a change of lease. Last week (it was Friday 13th) there was a new manager. A group of us were drinking and we had a tab. Unfortunately the bill did not correspond to what we had consumed - these things happen. However the way this error was handled by the manager was extremely unpleasant. The manager was very confident that it was the fault of the clients (apparently he never makes mistakes ). Maybe he was right but we are pretty sure he wasn't. A compromise was needed, maybe further investigation (we had been served by two people) but no, it was the fault of the clients as far as the manager was concerned and we were going to be made to feel uncomfortable about it. We left with a bitter taste in our mouths. I cannot comment on the food as I haven't eaten there. It looks good. The beer is kept well. UPDATE I am please to say that the offending manager has now left and I am very pleased to be able to drink in my local pub again.

Breakfast first visit here, wow! Beautiful place, great design. Very, very friendly and amazing service. Complimentary drinks with pastry and tone of toasts😲 First of a kind! Btw all delicious! Highly recommended 👌🏻. I wish we can come one day for a roast as it looked amazing.

Enjoyed an amazing meal at the Extraordinary Hare last night, super value for money, wonderful staff and delicious food! We misjudged the time to get there and arrived early, this wasn't a problem for the waitress and she showed us to our table with a smile and friendly nature. We placed our order and the food arrived in good time. I ordered the haloumi kebab for £14.95, and couldn't believe the (large) size of the portion and the variety of good on the platter. I have nothing bad at all to say about them, even the decor and atmosphere were lovely. The prices are comparable to other places nearby, but I'd say the portion sizes are better here. I would definitely recommend trying here if you haven't already.

We visited the Extraordinary Hare for a family roast. We were greeted with smiles and taken to our table. Our drinks orders were taken, shortly after and drinks arrived. Once we had chosen from the menu our food orders were taken and the very delicious food arrived piping hot and fresh around 25/30 mins later (which shows it's homemade, none of this fast microwave food). We have 2 beef roasts, 1 lamb roast, cod goujons and chicken kebabs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every part of their meal. We then had desserts - which I can personally say have been the best we have ever had. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at the Extraordinary Hare and will be going back soon.

Lovely pub with country surroundings and easy to get to. Had a great atmosphere and a Sunday menu with 1-3 courses for under £20pp. Will come again for a desert but didn’t manage to get through one course! Love the refurbishment

Had lunch here today. The refurbishment is just lovely and very in keeping with the pub. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Pub was busy which was great to see. So good to see it reopened. Will definitely be returning.

Love it, they hv a Beautiful big garden with a lovely and comfortable garden patio. They got a lovely goats behind fence. U can bring Ur pet as well 🙂. Patio is covered from sun so no need to worry. Lots of trees and lovely vue from the garden. U can bring Ur Children and U all can enjoy. Love the food and I was shocked with the portions (really big). Very friendly service 🤗. Thank You very much. More places like that please!

We visited a couple of weeks ago on a Tuesday, after trying to find somewhere serving food that also had vegan options and came across The Extraordinary Hare. The food was great, half of us had the vegan burger with fries and the other half had a veggie curry for the mains. I was pleasantly surprised to find they also had vegan puddings! The chocolate brownie with strawberry ice cream was the star of the show. Thank you for a lovely meal and great service!

Went here today for the first time, for mothers day, with my baby daughter, mum, dad and partner... Food was amazing!! Everything was very tasty and good portion sizes too! The staff were all lovely and very friendly (which I think makes all the difference!) Even though they were clearly very busy, they still made time to speak to my daughter and were very welcoming. The little touch of the mother's day cupcake and handcream was completely unexpected but a really nice touch at the end of our yummy meal! The baby changing facilities- never been anywhere that has a stock of nappies, wipes, creams, lotions - fab!!! Couldn't fault the place! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making a lovely afternoon! 😊

Excellent service..We visited with our young rescue dog and the staff were great with her while serving great value food and drink. The pub itself is clean and has lovely decor without being over fancy. We thought the menu provided some interesting and different choices while also including the more traditional favourites. We will return and highly recommend.

From the first contact via phone to the time we left after our meal we had first class service. The young ladies who dealt with us are a credit to the management. The meals we had were very well presented by the kitchen and served by the ladies. I had a prawn cocktail which had enough prawns to feed two people, which it did. My main course was a gammon served with melted cheese and tomato. The wife had a lamb Kebab with 3 types of dipping sauce and salad. When the main meals came my gammon was as described but I was a little concerned that the cheese may be hiding a rough cut of meat. How wrong, it was very good. Well done to the chef. A little disappointed with my wife's main course. Not the content but the price for the amount served on the plate. Next came the pudding. The wife had the Baileys Cheesecake. A very large slice turned up on the plate with a glass of Baileys. I ordered the special Cheery Mango Sorbet. It was served in a massive glass. Wow, what a surprise when I sunk my spoon in. The most delicious pudding I have had in years. Fruit from top to bottom. Whilst all this food was being enjoyed I had 2 pints of Timothy Taylor Landlords Bitter. Whoever is looking after beer pumps is doing a first class job. It is a shame that I live 200+ miles from here because I would make this my local. Thanks to all who made our evening very enjoyable. Oh, and the car park is level if you are staying over in a motorhome. Ring first though.
