I visited the White Horse Pub today and I loved it. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and is a family run business. The staff are really friendly. I ordered a Kebab and Salad in the restaurant and it was delicious. It tasted just like the kebabs I have eaten in Cyprus. I would highly recommend this pub.

We had a great group Christmas dinner at the White Horse and would heartily recommend it. Sue is the most welcoming host, the service was very friendly and efficient, the food was tasty and plentiful - we just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. They even let us do a Zorba dance! Thank you so much. :0)
Had a wonderful valentines meal this evening . Wonderful landlady and compliments to the chief. The food was 5* always feel welcome and love the pubs ambience and always a bonus when you are greeted with a smile ..highly recommend this wonderful country pub ...

We always have a lovely time when we visit here. The shared meze platters are so good and the staff are all welcoming and friendly. It is a lovely spot to while away the hours on a summers day, and dog friendly too!
We came here for food on Thursday and it was wonderful. The food was amazing, tasted like we were in Cyprus which I loved, I was so excited we found an authentic greek locally! all the staff were so friendly and really couldn't do enough for us! We will definitely be back in the near future!

We visited The White Horse on the 31st October for the amazing Halloween party.
The whole team made such an effort with the decorations, the games the food boxes for the kids and all for free!
What an amazing turn out they had.
So gutted we didn't get to stay for dinner as we had to leave due to a tired toddler but we will be in for dinner soon.
We do live 45 mins away but the food is so good we will travel jyst to get some.

A great first visit. Hostess Sue and her team welcomed us brilliantly. The food was fantastic. We were able to sit outside and eat our food. The kids loved the playground area and we were able to relax whilst eating our food. The kleftiko was amazing! We will definitely be returning.
Visited for lunch today; as a lover of Greek food was very much looking forward to coming here.
Greeted by a very friendly welcoming lady. Lots of hand sanitizer available and felt very safe and distanced in here.
We ordered some dips and pitta to start; which were really tasty and good size portions. 3 of us had moussaka, 2 meat and 1 veg. Can certainly say, none of them were served in a tea cup! They were is oven dishes, portion size was big enough to have on own, which generally is how moussaka is served. We ordered some salad and chips on the side and actually had too much food! The vegetable one was one of the nicest moussakas I have ever eaten, as per a previous review it had lots of mushrooms in, but would expect those in a vegetarian dish.
Lamb Kleftico was beautifully cooked. The meat fell off the bone.
Can tell that the quality of produce used is high, and that the dishes are cooked to traditional standards.
Will definitely be back!!
I have not been here for a very long time! So I was pleasantly surprised, that the garden has had some care and attention and looks great!
It's a good example of how Britain pub garden should be! A space for children and good tables that do not wobble.
The food is a Greek menu which is a bit pricey for the quality, but it is good. At the moment it is table service and it's advised you ring ahead to get a table, but not always necessary.
The toilets are inside which works one in one out. With a vacant/ Engaged sign!
Beautiful location surrounded by fields.

I found the pub to be very clean - Always a good start. They are still promoting and have Covid secure measures in place. Thank You π
The staff are very friendly and attentive. Sue is really lovely. My family and myself were warmly welcomed and we felt part of the family throughout. It was the personal attention received - Nothing was ever a problem, great eye for just the little details and I felt I was at home. Not, "here's your drink, that will be Β£".

The food. The food was absolutely amazing. It is not just pub grub. It is not just a kebab thrown on a plate with a silly little bit of garnish on the side. It is not just a BBQ. It is not something just dressed up.
Everything is very fresh. You can tell it is prepared properly due to wonderful flavours. It is cooked to perfection. It is proper restaurant quality. A proper Greek meal. It is the food that makes it a real gem.

I was recently in a wedding and the reception was held on the grounds of the pub. Sue and her team were absolutely amazing. They helped organise the marque and the food (Greek bbq) was delicious. The new cocktails on the menu are a lovely treat too. I canβt wait to go back one evening for dinner. Thanks for all your help Sue and everyone at The White Horse.
Smashing place, went there with the family for my daughter's birthday. Sue the owner is lovely, told us all about the food. Great food I will definitely be going there again. Looking forward to sitting out in the garden, beautiful.

From the booking process to goodbye we couldnβt fault a thing!
Sue helped us book and plan for 22 guests for a double celebration of a Pearl and Ruby wedding anniversary, very prompt on responding. On arrival Sue and her team had gone the extra mile and decorated our seating area with banners and balloons for the occasion and made personalised entry signs acknowledging the special occasion which was such a kind touch!
The service throughout was excellent, we opted for the meze as we was a large party and the food just kept coming and was to die for! Every single dish that was delivered was amazing, we felt like we was in Cyprus, and all the food was homemade and fresh. Will definitely be returning , staff are super friendly, relaxed atmosphere and play area for the kids was a bonus!

Great countryside pub, with a friendly owner and good quality Greek food. It was unexpected to find Greek food there and, being Greek myself, I can attest to its authenticity and being close to what would be served back home. A number of pub classics on the menu as well. Plus a good selection of both Greek and British beers.
Really lovely evening with my daughter tonight, Sue and Gemma attentive and welcoming. Food is amazing and highly recommend!! All safety measures in place during such difficult times for them. Will definitely be returning with our husbands soon. Take care all of you and well done for all your hard work giving people as best a time as possible. π
We used the pub yesterday 28th April for my daughters baby shower. It was a really lovely occasion, we received a warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and plentiful, tables laid with pretty lace cloths. The young girl serving so lovely and helpful, they cut the cake for us and served everyone. If any one wants to hire a room there I highly recommend.
It was my first visit to the pub and definitely not last. I was pleasantly surprise. Very nice food, homely, worm atmosphere and the best homemade chips I've ever had. This pub definitely will be on my dining out list π
