Great family pub and I fully recomend going to. Great for kids as there are two bouncy castles, parrots to see and guinepigs and other small animals. Has a lovely garden area that has a decking area and outside bar. Has a great menu and reasonable prices too. Lovely family run pub that make you feel very welcome. Will definitely be returning again soon
Beautiful garden and friendly people! Looking good to our next visit to see Charlie x
We hired out the back of the pub for a Ruby Wedding Anniversay Dinner. It was a large group of people and we booked in for a Sunday Roast. The food was absolutely delicious with large portions, the lady catered for all our needs and nothing was too much for her. Dessert was second to none, drinks flowed freely and was a large selection to choose from. There is a bouncy castle and climbing frame entertaining the children, plenty of TV screens to watch football on. The pub is inviting, nicely decorated and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend a visit to this little gem of a pub in this lovely quaint village.
Great pub in a lovely little village, with an aviery and a large gold fish pond inside.
Nice friendly local with decent outside space in the summer.the pub is small and fairy basic but very welcoming and well worth a visit
A good local pub, but unfortunately a long way from my home, it has a bouncy castle for the kids and a nice beer garden. Interia is to my liking. Does food but unfortunately says breakfast on menu board but has not started back since covid. I hope they do soon as would love to try it one day soon.
Quaint little village pub!! Low doors and ceilings make this pub feel very homely (says a man standing 6'8") Stadf are friendly, atmosphere is good. The pib also has a car park and a beer garden. Clearly doing something right for the locals to frequent it. They do have a kitchen and I've only had a toasted sandwich with š. All in all,a good place to be.
Absolutely lovely , nice & cosy š
xx
Nice friendly country pub
Brilliant pub we had my mums wake there on the 2nd August such friendly people who work there thank you x.
Had a fantastic Sunday dinner today. We both had roast lamb. The plates are enormous enough for both on one. The owner landlady so friendly. Thank so much. Only disappointment no kronenberg. But a farely wide variety of draft and keg ales. Worth a visit.
Beautiful people, gorgeous pub ā¤
Loved the little dogs and cat in a box! Lovely place on the corner to have drink. It was a Sunday night so only us and one other there. Smashing x
I just popped in for a quick half while giving Harlow traffic a chance to calm down so only a first impression but a very favourable one

Lovely pub, great cosy decor, best toilets I've ever seen in a pub!!
the comment from Lindsey should be dismissed .
Lindsey walked in to the crown in Hunsdon .
Made her self very comfortable on our seating , after an hour and a bit , Nancy the manager thought this is strange not coming up to the bar nor engaging in a conversation with her .
So Nancy decided to ask her are you waiting on a bus ?
No reply !
Is it not polite to ask, can I wait in your pub whilst the bus comes along Mrs Lindsey!!!
Using our toilet whilst sitting their serval times .
Made your self at home , why not we do t mind that but at least when asked serval times are you waiting on a bus have the respect to answer.
So yes you did get asked several times what you doing their .
And as for calling a regular costumer of the pub a village drunk , it says very much about you Lindsey .
If you donāt want to be questioned next time , when you go into someoneās establishment have common courtesy to ask if you can sit their for hours on end .
The Crown welcomes all people in or out of the village .
Nice pub, good food. Unfortunately due to Covid restricted beer choice but sure this will change.
