We had an excellent meal at the Anglebury last evening. Great service, lovely flavours and very nicely priced. We will be back next time we are in Wareham...a little gem!

Lovely place, very comfortable and great breakfast.
Terrific place. Will stay again next time I am visiting Dorset!
Came here for sheltering from the rain whilst waiting to be picked up by friends. Food is very tasty. More like a restaurant than a pub but they have tables where you can sit for quite a bit.
Excellent food, not over pricey. Very good service from the one waitress on what seemed to be a quiet evening. A very lucky & pleasant surprise to have spotted this restaurant and it was some way through our visit that we realised most people in the restaurant were in accommodation in the hotel. Whilst we cannot comment on the hotel, we can give 5 stars to the restaurent.
Historical hotel since 1550, clean rooms, good food in the restaurant. And wifi and tv available in the rooms. 2 older ladys run this place and make you feel welcome. Great atmosphere when you like a historic place..
Great B&B reasonable price good food and most importantly comfortable bed . Will use again if in the area
Gorgeous food, very friendly staff, decent rooms for a good price suited us perfectly
Room was lovely, only thing wrong toilet didnt flush well due to low pressure. Breakfast was lovely.
We were only here for dining, but the service was amazing and Jane looked after us. Thank you. We will be back again.
Very comfy and cute room , great value for your money . Friendly helpful staff .. lovely breakfast. Highly recommended 👌
We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was very comfortable, it's a lovely old building. Breakfast was good and hearty, on a couple of days we had to be out before breakfast, so we requested packed lunches, and these were great, sandwich, crisps, apple, home made cake and a bottle of water.
We had dinner here a couple of nights as well, and again the food was hearty and filling.
Location in the middle of the old town was perfect, short walk to the quay and to the Saxon town walls.
Parking - you can park outside free from 6pm to 8am, or Bonnet's lane car park is £6 for 24 hours, and only a short walk away.
Great value bed and breakfast with clean and comfortable rooms. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The hosts are friendly and welcoming too. It is basic so don’t expect thrills but ideal for a simple getaway.
Wonderful people. Good food. Great accommodation. Wareham is a good base for visiting Jurassic Coast.
Only stayed for one night but will definitely return what a lovely friendly hotel My room was lovely and an added bonus on the ground floor . Slept so well really peaceful. The full English breakfast was fabulous excellent experience all round thank you so much
Popped in with my disabled mother (limited walking, not fully wheelchair bound), for a cuppa & snacks.
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because of the limited access.
Not the places fault, it's extremely hard for such an old building to be sympathetically adjusted.
The staff, their helpfulness & cordiality more than make up for the little inconvenience that the steps make (not wheelchair accessible to the toilet that I could make out).
Coffee, tea & scones where excellent (really good coffee ☕). Will definitely recommend it & revisit.
Very welcoming, the room's were clean. The breakfast and dinner was presented very well and large portions. We will all definitely be returning again.
I stayed at Anglebury House for two nights at the end of July. I am a keen long distance walker who has stayed at hundreds of bed and breakfasts and this is definitely one of my favourites. At £50 per night my room was great value for money given the location and time of year. I stayed in two different rooms and both were very comfortable. I thought the staff were very friendly and attentive. Emma was very helpful when I decided to have food delivery one night and supplied me with a plate and cutlery. The place has a great atmosphere and as a lone traveller that is the most important aspect to any accommodation for me.
Really nice stay. The room was old furnished as expected from such a historical hotel. The furniture itself is old but the place and the bed was really clean. I had a fresh made breakfast. It was tasty and who served the breakfast are very welcoming. Overall nice stay
Pretty building and room was clean and comfortable - although I like a really firm bed so this was a bit soft for my liking. Friendly and attentive service. Pleasant, relaxing stay.
