Review The Masons Arms - Warkworth

Well, we're up in the area for a weeks holiday, and after eating at the Masons Arms earlier in the week we simply had to return for more of the steak and ale pie! Also the vegan fish and chips with battered banana blossom was a delightful change from the often served halumi as the fish substitute. Staff extremely friendly and speedy service too. Altogether a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

Ate here last night and this afternoon. Excellent food. As a 60 year old I have to say I've just had the best chicken burger ever. Tortilla covered chicken. Superb. Last nights beef gravy sandwich was excellent. And can I advise you to be hungry eating here as portions are big! Highly reccomend this pub in this lovely village.

We enjoyed it so much during our week away, we went back. The steak and ale pie is just perfect 🥰. The best ever! Plus, it's dog friendly, including a dog menu and ice cream. Comfy. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Visited during lunchtime on a weekday in late August. Lovely atmosphere inside, warm, friendly welcome and super dog friendly. Good range of well kept real ales. Really good food. We chose the steak and ale pie, which seemed to be popular. We soon saw why: rich, tasty filling, seriously generous portions, lashings of gravy, and absolutely amazing homecooked chips. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! The hot beef roll with gravy was delicious alongside a hearty handful of homecut chips. The Mason's Arms Blonde beer went down very well too!

Tried the Vegetable Wellington and was one of the best meals I’ve had. Quick, friendly service. Will definitely be returning when we’re back in the area.
