The Whistledown is a great restaurant which is always really well decorated according to the seasons. There is always loads of waiting staff on and their manager is always on the floor - this makes for great attention to the customers during service which is absolutely brilliant.

The best thing about the Whistledown is the staff. We always feel welcome, and nothing seems to be a bother to them. They make a nice hotel into our first choice every time. We only stay elsewhere if they're fully booked, and we can't change our plans to when rooms are available.

Nice restaurant upstairs, nice decor and great view over Carlingford Lough if seated by a window which we were. Staff are pleasant and attentive and the food was excellent. Service was quite quick too. Definitely worth a visit for a bite to eat.

Came here at Christmas time, decorations were lovely. Food was top notch, would highly recommend the Thai red curry. Our server Eve was an absolute star and made sure we had an amazing experience, will definitely be back!
