Alison went above and beyond to create a spooky atmosphere in the function room for the Halloween party with sound effects and DJ, needless to say, we had a super night!
Made a real effort to help me watch the South African rugby game on the big screen. Really friendly bar staff and the patrons were a kind bunch too. Extra points for iron maiden on the speakers when I arrived too!
Was introduced to this pub by a friend who lives locally. It's a lovely traditional pub, made to feel very welcome by staff. I've been here twice now and would love to come again. Pool table there, jukebox, tv and plenty of drinks and snacks options. Separate rooms for more privacy. See you again soon!

Lovely bar staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
Great music pub. Folk club in function room was an excellent first visit. All acoustic and all genre's. Warm welcome and good banter among the regulars.
There was karoki in the main bar and welcoming smiles. I am impressed.
Our pool team played here for the first time. Everyone was very friendly. Nice music and lovely food 👏👏
New land lady is FAB. Not my normal place to go - but now having a re think after popping in on a Sunny Sunday afternoon when everywhere else locally were full. Very accomodating and friendly - BASIC sandwiches on sale which at £2.00 is a little too much in my opinion for what you get, but nevertheless I will be returning. Thanks. 🥂 Cheers.
