Longhorn Steakhouse

Solid experience as usual. My wife, son and myself ran in for a quick bite after his football game on Saturday. Server was awesome and super friendly. I had the wings which were tasty as always. My son had the burger and firecracker tacquitos and so did my wife. Everyone def enjoyed their food. I had a couple of beers and my wife had a really good frozen mango margarita. Two thumbs up once again for Longhorn!

Phil was our server tonight. He was amazing. He took the time to explain every step of the process. He told us great selections on the food. The steak was slightly overcooked. We didn't complain, but Phil noticed. The only thing that is keeping this a five star review is the manager never asked us how things were. He seemed to be on his phone near the host stand. Joking around. Phil saved the day by being attentive. The refills and jokes were following.

Their lunch specials are a bargain as you get to choose a meal and your choice of soup, side, or salad. I forget his name, but he was only one of 2 servers working that shift. Felt bad for him but he did his best with what he was given. Very cheery and bright. Longhorn should keep him at all costs. It's hard to find servers with that type of demeanor anymore. Update: I come here around 2 to 3 times a month, and honestly, for the most part, the service isn't that great. They feel forced to do this job. But today was different. I had the most cheery, attentive, and amazing server! The best server I've had in the 2 years that I have been frequenting here. Her name is Eve. If you want good food, but an even better experience, ask for Eve to be your server. You can thank me later.

We go for Luner because senior citizens like to eat early at a bargain. Love the strawberry chicken salad., and their burgers are grilled just right. My husband tried the new chopped cheese burger sandwich. It was very good so big he had to take half home. Pictured below is a cheese burger with their very tasty fries and French onion soup 🍲
