Slacks Hoagie Shack

I got a roast pork hoagie with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone that came with a side of au jus as well as Pete’s crabby fries which were seasoned with Old Bay that came with a side of American cheese dipping sauce. Rolls are freshly made on-site and everything was cooked perfectly. It's a hot take, but the roast pork might be better than DiNic's. Fries are comparable to Chickie and Pete’s and might also be better. Definitely try this spot.

I was car shopping at the Kia dealership next door when I noticed Slack's. It was lunchtime, so I gave it a try. This unassuming little place has some of the best cheesesteaks in the burbs! Lots of finely shredded tender meat, soft tasty home made roll, and home made roaster peppers. The side of pickles were fresh and crisp. Service was friendly and fast. The TV in the clean dining area had a Phillies game on, so I ate in, although I think it is mostly a takeout place. I will go back to try a hoagie! Note: the owner told me the name would soon be changing, so it may not be Slack's for long.

Stopped in on a Monday afternoon, service was quick and extremely friendly. Had the Phillies game on so I dined in, tabled were clean food was hot and fast. Sandwich was on extremely fresh bread fresh baked bread. Meat was fresh ribeye cooked to perfection. Had the pumpkin spice deep fried Oreo and that thing was out of this world as well, not from this area but if im back I’ll be back here for sure! Pete the owner was awesome to talk to about sports and the industry! Will absolutely be back here
