A nice place for a relaxed Sunday roast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was clean and looked well presented. The menu offerings were good, too. The broccoli and Stilton soup was lovely just under seasoned for my taste buds, and the chicken breast might look better sliced, an
Lovely place staff so friendly, can't really comment on the atmosphere as there was on 5 people on our side. The service was excellent. Food good 👍
We went here as a group of four and had an excellent Sunday roast. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and the food was great quality, perfectly cooked and beautifully arranged on the plate. It was also reasonable value; two courses plus drinks and coffees came to £35 per head. We'll be b
Popped in for Friday evening food. Buzzing night in a well-run local pub. Good pub grub with a friendly welcome. Special mention to Jess who was our waitress; a gorgeous, happy little soul, who provided great service.
On a day out from London and stopped here for lunch after reading reviews and we weren’t disappointed. My husband and I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection with freshly cooked hot chips..The staff were friendly and the place was clean. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Our second visit for Sunday lunch. Quite simply the best roast dinner for many a mile. The beef was a plenty and succulent. Plenty of seasonal veg and a surprise Cauliflower Cheese all immaculately presented. 10/10 Neil and family
Had an absolutely amazing Sunday lunch at The Hook today. Bernie is an honest to God, true superstar and made my day 😊 food was awesome, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Thank you Bernie and all the staff at The Hook Warsash
We had a delicious roast with extra gravy and loads of fresh vegetables. Great chocolate brownie and ice cream to follow. Service really good. The restaurant part of the Hook is great. The pub part is a very local blokey. Well behaved dogs are allowed inside both parts, which is nice.
Renamed THE HOOK, We ate here yesterday, meeting up with friends, our dog was welcome, our food delivered to our table prompt and hot, I was very full after my chilli, but the other half went for the syrup sponge & custard delishous. Didn't feel rushed great value, will definately go again.
Popped in for snack lunch, staff couldn't be more helpful. I had a delicious panini of sausage and red onion and my wife had nachos. Both her delicious and what we wanted. They are also very dog friendly.
Didn't rate the food as didn’t eat there, my boyfriend had arranged a date night and booked a table in the Italian restaurant but there was some confusion as it was actually closed for a function and we'd been booked a table in the pub. My boyfriend was visibly gutted and I have to say the staff we
This place is breathtaking and family friendly.
We went on a Monday evening when the mains are half price. Honestly, the food was great, and even better value for money, although it might have been a different story had we paid full price, then the value for money thing would have been out of the window. The location is quite nice, the pub itself
The food, the outdoor but indoor seating area, and the service was outstanding. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you!
First time at The Hook, Warsash, and we weren't disappointed. Good food, friendly and welcoming staff, prompt service. The food was very good. We will definitely be returning.
A hospitality venue can be quickly judged by the welcome from their staff and quality of the waiter/ess and The Hook rose to the occasion at our visit on Thursday 4 May. Credit for this goes to Amy who took our orders and served us. What a delightful, smiley, fun young lady she was; helpful througho
