Mike And Gel's Pizza

I've gone to Mike & Gel's a few times since they took over the place, and have been satisfied every time. They offer typical pizza shop/pub fare, and everything is reasonably priced and has large portions. Their spinach pies and calzones are delicious, and their small nachos ($6.99) are large enough to fit in a small pizza box.

First time ordering from there. As you can see the cheese is over cooked and the crust is undercooked. If you like allot of sauce then you'll love that ( we do) the sauce has a tinny flavor and the crust is a little bland not so bad that's it's unbearable, it was an ok pizza. I probably won't order a pizza from there again but will give them a second chance on something else on their menu. As for service the woman who answered was very friendly and delivery was prompt.

I absolutely love this place. I recently moved to the area, and of all the pizza joints I've tried in Rhode Island, this is by far my favorite. The service is fantastic, it's a family run business and they treat you like family. Everyone is so nice. The dining area is cozy and the decor reminds me of a mother's kitchen. The pizza is phenomenal, and they have good beer on draft. The prices are good, too. As many times as I've been here, I've never had a complaint and I will definitely keep coming back. I've worked in the pizza business for years and this shop is great!

Food is good and plentiful. Prices reasonable. Restaurant is clean. Waitress was great. Because it is a small business there are items not always available. However, I would prefer not to have something than to have something old. That being said, I hqve no problem with them running out of certain toppings. And yes, I would return and recommend

We have been wanting to try this pizza place and must say it is one of our favorite pizza places now since Brother's oven is gone. We ordered mozzerella sticks which were good! They make fresh garlic knots which are unheard of in this area and they were good. Personally, I would love more oil, garlic, and parsley! I am from NY, so I am used to that oily garlic heaveness! However, the doughiness of the garlic knot was great! We ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and we thought the pizza was delicious! Even as having it as a leftover, the pizza maintained intact and was still delicious!! The sauce is also really good! I will say originally looking at the pizza, we worried the crust was more undercooked since it isn't toasted but that isn't the case; it's perfect! We also really love the idea that they donate peanut butter and jelly and that you can buy a pizza for someone! We love that they care so much about the community and it is really nice to see!! They also had a nice variety of beer on tap and little bar area. Next time, we will try one of their gourmet pizzas!! Staff was friendly as well!!
