Mussels Restaurant

Recently did a road trip or Australia and this is was my worst dining experience. Inside of restaurant appears grubby and staff disinterested in their own customers. Ordered a bacom and egg burger ( as it was described) with a cappuccino. Received what is hard to describe coated in barbecue sauce and the only coffee I have never been able to finish. Felt ill for rest of day

This place is great! We were in town for the Jumpers and Jazz festival. Our group of 8 enjoyed every bite of delicious barbecue. We shared the platter for two. All the meats we had were so tender. Loved the brisket especially. And all the different homemade sauces and apple slaw that came with were yum! We will have to come back for their award winning ribs for sure. Great vibe and loved the big smokers out the front.

Been wanting to go here for some time . So while we were going through Warwick this trip we called in . Absolutely would recommend this to anyone. We had the Pulled Pork Burger and Beef Brisket Burger. The meat just melted in your mouth. The only thing I was disappointed in was the size of the coffee. They were on the small side of things . But differently we will be back for more of that fabulous Brisket and Pork !

We visited Bluebird on a Thursday morning, it wasn't too busy at the time and ordered the BBQ plate for 2, Pork Loin Tacos and Wings. The BBQ plate was delicious, the Brisket and pulled pork were moist and had perfect flavour. The Tacos had cruncy crackling and were delicious. The only disappointment were the wings, as they were really small but still had good flavour. Just be mindful to call in to check the food status as they are quick to run out of meat and expect heaps of flies due to the smoke/food.

Didn't get a chance to take photos, tucked in too quickly and thoroughly enjoyed! Smelt this place from down the street and stumbled upon by chance, so glad we stopped here. I had the pulled pork burger and hubby had tri tip, both amazing. Beautiful home made sauces, too. Normally these American BBQ places make everything so sweet but that wasn't the case here, which I appreciated. Super friendly staff, food came out quickly. Thanks for an awesome meal!

So glad we discovered here today on our way through town. Beautiful tender tasty pulled pork tacos ...couldn't fault. Friends brisket burger he enjoyed but thought they could of had something like appleslaw. Great staff..although it was very busy food was prompt and plentiful. Parking is not on the premises but was not a problem.
