Quaint olde worlde setting, not a fast food joint. All meals prepared with care so a bit of a wait. Good quality food well presented. No complaints, a nice Sunday lunch experience at a reasonable cost.

Small place, small menu, but huge on warmth of welcome, service, value and above all... taste.
Went last night, via it being listed on the Gourmet Card website, and was totally blown away.
It isn't going to be very long before I go again. It's been a long time since any visit to any restaurant had a wow factor that completely blew me away with surprise, like that, last night.
Go and book a table. You won't be disappointed.

We made a last minute booking on Friday night and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. Lovely, cosy restaurant that we will be sure to visit again!

I visited as part of a family meal (12 people) and we found the staff to be extremely friendly very accommodating. The food was amazing as well, crisp veg and tender meat, yummy. I will definitely visit again 👍

Do not miss this fabulous restaurant. We were staying in Warwick for one night for my fiance and my birthday (born the same day). We booked in advance for three: two adults one child. It's a small restaurant and when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night there was only one other table occupied. We were given a table by the window and given the menu which was small but offered a nice variety, although i thought the starters might have been a little more adventurous.However as the menu was £15 for two courses this was not at all an issue. My daughter could not find anything to interest her and there was no problem cooking her chicken and chips! The starters are fabulously cooked we had the cheese souffle and the chicken Caesar salad. We both had steak for the main which was wonderfully cooked. The lemon posset for dessert was divine. The owner who managed front of house and the other staff member were very friendly and made our visit a complete joy. We will go back next time we visit Warwick.

A great experience! Excellent food at a surprisingly low price. The red wine was a bit too warm; the good food deserves good wine at the right temperatur. Friendly service.

A fabulous small eatery run by a wonderful Yorkshire couple. Small but tasty menu with an extensive wine list and great value as well. A place we keep returning to.
