My husband ordered a cake on Friday. It was for my birthday. Honestly, the cake was too dry to eat. Thank goodness we had ice cream. This is not the first time this had happened but it was the driest of all. It seems to happen if you don’t order a special cake. I have been told they freeze cakes and thaw it out on Friday or Saturday and then frost it. Now, we have been a customer for over forty years. They have delicious baked goods but they have to stop doing this. Birthdays are special to everyone. So very disappointed. Be sure to ask about this practice when you order.

Bought a cake for my brothers birthday. Thought it would be delicious coming from a bakery and costing more but it was the worst cake we have ever bought. It was very dry. Icing was not the best either. Someone just told me that they use frozen cakes so they are not fresh. Do yourself a favor and go a few blokes to shop n save. Don’t waste your money. I never leave reviews but we were very disappointed in the quality from a bakery

I've only purchased donuts from Krency's but they are very good, handmade treats. They have many other bakery items for sale that look equally tasty. The selection gets a little thin by mid-morning, so make sure you get there early for the best choices. Parking is also a little tight right in front of the shop...I recommend parking under the Interstate right next door.
