Meal was OK fish was dry and chips were in bits and pieces not the best I have had , but for filling, and good price.
Very enjoyable but they don't seem to do meal deals and what we refer to as a mix on a tray or in a box . Therefore it seemed to work out quite an expensive meal that only contained 1 piece of fish and chicken bites the rest of the order was chips and curry sauce . I would go again but hopefully be able to get a smaller portion of chips with the curry on the top . I did seem to be waiting as if they probably had forgotten me although I know they were busy part of the order was clearly ready I thought possibly because they were waiting for chips but this couldn't have been the reason as 3 people came in while I waited each having chips . These weren't telephone orders so I'm not quite sure. Despite the long wait they were very enjoyable although lacking the salt and vinegar that I'd only cancelled on one portion of chips .
I had the fish and chips today and was impressed how fresh the fish was, the batter of the fish was crispy and yummy, and well seasoned. Friendly staff, good shop environment. The food is as good as in a restaurant. One of the best fish & chips I have had for a long time. Highly recommended!
