The Spice Merchant - Watchet - Photo album

Brilliant restaurant in the heart of beautiful Watchet sommerset. Lovely menu full of Indian delight. I had the lamb tikka cooked to perfection with a lovely keema Nan. Very friendly welcoming staff who seated us no problem without booking. Very reasonable prices. The restaurant is very clean and ti
Great restaurant. Food is fantastic and service is great. If your in the area well worth a visit
A group of 17 of us (8 adults and 9 children) decided to eat out. We knew it would be difficult to find somewhere to accommodate us all. We called a few places and were turned down every time until we called the Spice Merchant. They were more than happy to feed us all. We received a very warm welcom
We were so pleased to find great Indian food in Watchet. The service and meals were excellent. The portions were generous and the prices were very fair. The papadums, along with all the sides, were very creative and flavorful. The mixed tandoori grill was excellent. It's great to return to my origin
We got complementary chocolates and wet towels at the end off are meal which is very nice and this place is also one of my favourite Indian restaurants 🇮🇳
What a find, We were on holiday on a camp site near Watchet and my daughter found this gem, We ordered a delivery to the campsite, was delivered quickly and tasted so good, specially the Onion Bhajis. We loved them so much that we went back a few days later to get more as a snack as we watched Dirty
Insane food! Had the Onion Bhaji, Chicken Pakoras and samosas to start and have to say these were insane! Same with the mains. The team were short staffed, but we were extremely impressed 10/10 service from both the servers! Well done spice merchant!
Fantastic food and service! Really delicious and adjusted to my taste. Won’t go anywhere else now! 10/10
Food was absolutely incredible! The poppadom starters came with loads of nice dips and sauces. The mains were generous and really saucey. Reasonably priced too. Would come again!
Visited in September on an event weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. To say that, what I had, was better than any Indian meal I've EVER had, doesn't do it justice. Service was impeccable, food was well presented and was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. You know when i
Lovely food, value for money. Will always go back. I will recommend. Friendly staff, nothings too much.
Tasty food, freshly prepared. Very generous portion sizes! Curries are flavourful and nicely seasoned. Keema naan lacks a bit of meat and the curries could be spicer but overall I would recommend.
Lovely restaurant. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food was outstanding. Great location as we got a post dinner walk and watched the sunset. Thanks for a great evening.
Went two years ago for our wedding anniversary, came back today for same reason. Food still as delicious. Can't recommend highly enough.
The food and service are outstanding in this reasonably priced restaurant. It does not look that inviting from outside, a bit modern and bland. But well worth a visit.
Highly recommended, lovely friendly and reasonable price. Big portions had to take rest home. Gets busy so would recommend to book.
We drove from Minehead for a meal here. Food was so tasty, very clean restaurant and the lady that served us was very friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending The Spice Merchant.
I read some mixed reviews about this restaurant but most of the bad ones were vague and seemed like a load of moaners or men who think adding chilli as the main ingredient means something has flavour, so I placed my order. It was absolutely delicious. Even dishes without a lot of spice had beautiful
