Sushi No Mai - Watford - Photo album

Tried sushi & ramen here for the first time today and it was delicious. They squeezed us in as a very popular place and we did wait a little while for food but so worth the wait. Will definitely visit again!
I have been eating at Sushi No Mai since they were in the old Watford Market place. It's always such a treat for all my visits. Staff are friendly and food is delicious. Sadly, the head chef who made sushi and sashimi passed away about 6 months ago hence the shorter menu. There are fresh sashimi sal
Simply the best Japanese food I ever had in my life. Call it a Sushi place it's diminishing, and their hot dishes are amazing. Katzu Curry, Noodles and Teriyaki chicken are my favourites. If you really want to find something that isn't perfect, you could say that the place it's little and not comfor
Got to the restaurant before closing time and were met with a queue, by the time we got to the front of the queue - we were told they weren’t taking any more customers, which was frustrating. We picked up a takeaway platter, which was well priced (£25) and quality of the sushi was really good for th
I want to give this place a bad review so the queue gets shorter and I can get back in easier! It might not look like much from the outside but there's a reason why this place is packed from the moment it opens. Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff and unbelievable value for money. Every single
Love this restaurant! Good food and reasonable price. Service a bit slow but that's fine as we were in no rush! Recommended and will definitely come back!
Great sushi for a great price. I wouldn't say it's absolutely the best quality I've had - it's very good and great value. It's quite a small place so be prepared for a bit of a squeeze, but the staff are accomodating.
Had the unique and yummy special of the day at Sushi No Mai, wasn't sure what to expect but trusted the recommendation by the helpful staff and wasn't disappointed! I usually visit for the fresh sushi, but definitely will be exploring more of the menu.
Watford's hidden gem. Authentic Japanese food (strongly recommend the Sashimi Set or the special of the chef (photo), reasonably priced with high quality ingredients and outstanding service (love the staff!). A must go when in Watford.
Me and my family like to go here whenever we're after cheap, quality sushi. It tastes just as good every time we come back, and the waitresses are polite despite how busy it can get. A wide variety of sushi with staple Japanese style food on the menu, such as katsu curry and ramen. Definitely recomm
Amazing sushi. The best I've had in the UK. Tbf I haven't had huge amounts but from my limited experience it was amazing. Get there early because when they sell out, they close. Will defo be going again.
My favourite Japanese restaurant! Special seasonal bento and oedo set. So delicious!
I was with my friend who was working there many years a go ...first time I eat katsu Cary with pork Which was yammmmy ...Miso soup is delicious as well. Definitely I will back soon with my family.
Probably the most authentic Japanese diner I've been to with all Japanese staff, the specials are all very well presented. Highly recommend.
The family platter is amazing value and amazing quality for only £20. Would recommend travelling out of London just to get this! And everything is made fresh by an adorable Japanese couple so you know it's authentic
I love this place, the sushi is so good and crazy good value for money. I have never had a bad meal there, always fresh and tasty. Not A lot of vegetarian options but can definitely recommend the vegetable curry.
