Great place for nice treats, people with a sweet tooth and perfect for the little ones; good vibes. The staff are welcoming and there are a variety of food and drinks to choose from. Decent portion sizes and great for those sharing moments on dates. Highly recommend others to try the smarties waffle and strawberry ice cream shake (as per the photos).
A great place to go for desserts that don't bust the bank. Interior Decor is nice and airy, with comfortable seating that can amply fit four people. Staff are extremely friendly, and seem to genuinely care about the service they're providing. Ice cream is some of the best I've ever had.
Went last night with a friend. Was greeted warmly by staff. Sundae was the best I have EVER had and at a reasonable cost. Place was clean and spacious. Plenty of space upstairs as well as in their basement seating area. Would recommend this for sure. You will not regret it!
Great place to go with friends and family as there is a massive choice of desserts. Especially happy they do shakes and pancakes... both delicious!!! They are good portions and come with generous toppings. Warm welcome and cold... ice cream... Definitely recommend!!!
I don't normally leave reviews because I feel an establishment should all provide what they offer to a high standard. I felt on this occasion I had to, I was recommended this place by a friend who had recently visited and I was in the area so thought why not. Place looks very nice, clean, staff are in uniforms, regular cleaning intervals...you can tell its well looked after. I ordered a strawberry waffle and was served by the lovely Sofina who went above and beyond to make sure our evening was a pleasant one. Not pushy allowed us time to look at menu and also the time between ordering/service was good. The dessert itself was amazing and looked great I had to a picture, everything was fresh tasting which you don't get from many dessert places. I will definitely be visiting again and would recommend anyone else to.
First visit on the grand opening. Really impressed by the immaculate decor and welcoming staff. Brought the whole family including young children and was a great family atmosphere. Menu was refreshingly varied and the waffles were amazing. Especially the Ferrero Don. Drinks were great and the mojitos are a great accompaniment to the desserts. Good prices and big portion sizes. I will be visiting again soon! Thank you.
I have been to my fair share of dessert places but I have to say that Dessert Island really stood out from the rest due to the quality of their food and service. I walked in with my partner on valentines day at 10 pm on the dot which is closing time (i had not realised) and the owner instead of turning me away was very welcoming saying I will stay open for you and you can have any dessert you like no restrictions due to time, this is what I call going above and beyond. 10/10 I would highly recommend to anyone.
Excellent friendly service and very reasonable prices unlike nearby competitor. Would highly recommend it to my friends. The sundaes are yummy and I am sure the other desesert are just as delicious. Mummy particularly enjoyed the coffee shake. 😃🍧🍨
Desserts are amazing expecially the sundaes and staff are wonderful and kind. All Halal and the place is very clean in a decent location parking isn't much of an issue as plenty of local places to park but if you are in the town and have a sweet tooth I cannot reccoment this place to you enough! Also they deliver on Just Eat and Deliveroo but also have their own app where you can get a 20% off discount. Have this place whenever I have a sweet tooth and the family are also addicted. I heard about the opening of this place through advertising, so thought, let's go and see how good it is. I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time and food here. The staff were all on point, the premises were neat, tidy and clean ( don't find that much nowadays ), but to top it off, the prices are excellent, much cheaper than Creams.
I would totally recommend this place to anyone!
