A very nice, welcoming pub with a good selection of beers and cider. Staff are friendly and there is always a nice sense of community. A pleasant place to stop for a drink and a pack of mini cheddars after a walk over the common.
If you're not interested in sport there is plenty of space to sit away from the televisions as they're only located at the bar.

Simple but friendly local pub. Excellent curry night on a Tuesday catered by The Village Kitchen. £12 for a generous portion (rice, meat, sides with good vegan/veggie options) + £1 extra if you want popadoms or a basic (oven) naan. Must book!

Amazing night at the rifle fir the jubilee quiz. Lovely friendly pub with a great atmosphere. First time we have been there but felt so welcome. Will be back for the next quiz.

Do arrange to book to eat here or takeaways for very good value curry nights on every tuesday and pizza or pie and mash nights.

A nice old pub in Bushey. Great landlord and nice clientele plus the sport if you want it. A proper pub before they all get turned into a generic bar. Enjoy.
