Lovely restaurant/pub! What a fantastic place to go for a bite to eat, with lovely food and why not sit outside in the sun with a lovely play area for the little ones. This is the 2nd time I’ve visited the farmers arms now. We cannot enjoy the place more. The first time we came was for a large family meal, the staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating, couldn’t do enough for us. The service & food were both fantastic. Everyone one of the party commented how lovely it was
The second time was last night for my sons football presentation. Again cannot fault anything. The play area for the kids is fabulous, no nagging was to be had as the kids were all enjoying, giving the parents the chance to sit down, talk & soak up the atmosphere. Once again, the food & staff were all fantastic

We had our Daughters movie party here today and it was amazing. Our server Charlotte couldn't of been more helpful. Our Daughter and her friends had the best time. They all enjoyed the food. The adults who were there ordered off the main menu and the food was delicious and was freshly home cooked food at its best. Thank you for making our Daughters day so special. Xx
Lovely valentines meal here tonight, a single red rose on the table which I thought was a nice touch, for mains we both had the 10oz sirloin steak which was absolutely stunning and cooked perfectly, best steak I’ve had in years! Dessert was also lovely. The service was also spot on. Definitely my favourite local and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a friendly welcome and a relaxed evening �
Me and my disabled mother just came here for a meal -no words to explain how good the service, food and facilities were! warm welcome, beautiful and clean inside! food came quick and was piping hot and fresh. generous portions, great prices absolutely stunning toilets and accessible all round. amazing what they have done with the place - will 100% be back here! cant recommend enough. should be proud of this place!

We went here last night, there was 7 of us. As soon as we walked through the doors I could feel the lovely welcoming atmosphere. We were seated at our table, we didn’t even have to go to the bar, the lovely friendly waitress took our drinks order while we were left to look at the menu. Which was a good selection to choose from, or from the specials board.
When our food arrived all I can say is WOW! presentation was 10/10. We were all given our meals together (usually when ever we go for food we find that one or two of us are still waiting while everyone tucks into their food). My boys had pizza each which may I add was homemade and fresh and a very good size too. My farmers chicken (which is usually named Chicken Newyorker. Or BBQ Chicken in most places) was outstanding I always order this, but never have I tasted it like this before. We were all please with our food, there was nothing left over (which we usually do have and take any left overs home for the dog, she was disappointed �)
Steak was also ordered and was cooked perfect. Moving on to desserts, the lovely waitress recommended Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake because I was so undecided and it didn’t disappoint it was gorgeous. Everything here is outstanding, we couldn’t fault anything, all staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back, especially summer time, because Out the back is a fantastic play area, football pitch and even a cinema bus, we can’t wait to go back. Well done The Farmers.
All I can say is Wow. We came here for mother’s day yesterday 12 of us in total and all of us had the best Sunday dinner we have ever tasted, we would def give 10 out of 10 for the whole experience, from eating the food, the service, it was all outstanding that everyone who worked there went out of their way to look after us all and even when we ordered a takeaway dinner aswell and my son smashed the plate on the floor and it was no trouble to them and that they changed it for us. A massive thank you for making the day so special for us all and we can’t wait to return and already booked for my sons birthday and looking forward to having a evening meal there 😍👌👍 xxx

Visited today for a family Sunday lunch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent value for money, but most importantly it was delicious. Loads of really tasty meat and plenty of veg and gravy. We then spent some time in the outdoor play area afterwards which the kids absolutely loved. Looking forward to returning to sample the regular menu �
We visited here today, there was 20 of us in total. From the time we walked in the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Everyone’s meals were outstanding and considering there was 20 of us and everyone had a perfect meal that’s outstanding!! Thank you so much for making our day out a good one. �
Amazing family orientated bar and restaurant. Superb food and plenty of it. Happy staff who are friendly and can't do enough for the customer. Dog friendly too and a superb beer garden and park for the children during nice weather. Definitely recommend this place.

We just popped in for lunch, was not disappointed after a check with the kitchen to check availability 2 of us went for Gammon and chips, 1 had lasagne. No complaints at all .All the food cooked fresh great straight out of kitchen to table not kept under heat lamps like you see in bigger chain restaurants. Will certainly recommend to friends.
Fantastic meal with great service. Order for a family of 4 meal, child's meals were very generous and good value for price. Adults had 10oz sirloin both cook amazingly! over heard that they had a new chef. First time there and definitely not my last time either.
We all had a really great meal our compliments to the chef. The staff were amazing we would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Tonight myself, wife and 5 year decided last minute to go to the farmers for food. My wife had the king prawn linguine which was delicious, I had chicken curry with rice, they don't do half and half, so I ordered a side of chips. My daughter had a child's potion of chicken nuggets and chips. The service was excellent and the food was really good and excellent value for money. So why only 4 stars I hear you ask, I dropped a star because my daughter received frozen chips, my side order of chips where real chips and stunning they were to. We will be back and I encourage anyone you hasn't been to the farmers to go, you will not be disappointed.
Lovely place food all ways on point
11 of us have visited today and had the most delicious Sunday lunch. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and the staff were so friendly they are an credit to your team. The kids were thrilled with the outdoor playarea what an amazing added bonus! We will definitely be coming back.
